Probably the best steak I have ever eaten. Cooked perfectly and served with bone marrow butter .melted down with torch at the table. My other half also had a steak which she declared perfect (and she fixes a mean steak herself)
Our Server , Marie was cheerful, helpful with suggestions and bubbling with personality. She was the icing on this perfect dining experience.
Its not a negative but , be prepared cost wise. You get what you pay for and what your getting is a luxury dining experience.
Im sure we will be going back in a couple months.
Recently dined here on a whim, passing thru fm DC..(same day reservations.) The sauce for the mussels was heavenly, we did the 3 course meal for 2 -salad, soup, 4 sides and the tomahawk steak. Banana pudding was very sweet but delicious. The server was happy to separate portion of steak I wanted well done. He ensured every aspect of the meal delivered. We will be back when passing thru.
My wife and I celebrated our eight-year anniversary at Fahrenheit 132 in downtown Fredericksburg, and it was a five-star experience. The dry-aged ribeye was the star—cooked medium-rare, it melted in my mouth with incredible tenderness, juice, and flavor, well worth the splurge. My wife started with fresh, clean oysters and a solid Caesar salad, while I enjoyed flavorful local IPAs with nothing to complain about. The service was top-shelf professional—our server was caring and deeply knowledgeable about every menu item, and the team accommodated our early arrival by seating us at the bar and moving us inside from our outdoor reservation. They even made our last visit special with a beautiful birthday platter. The peanut butter pie was a sweet finish to the night. Parking can be tricky with only two-hour street spots, but we lucked out and parked right next to the restaurant. This place is consistently excellent and we love coming here.
I am not the type to write reviews but this place deserves it. Had a small hiccup in the beginning which was not a big deal in my eyes but Megan and her manager went above and beyond to make sure me and my partner had an amazing experience. It was our first time at the restaurant and everything was amazing, the food was amazing, the desserts the attentiveness. This is easily in my top 3 restaurants. We are very excited to plan our next date night thereI am not the type to write reviews but this place deserves it. It was our first visit and we were celebrating an anniversary. Alice made sure we had a great night. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and how everything was prepared.
We started with the burrata, which was excellent. I would recommend adding a fourth bruschetta slice since we only had three and ended up splitting the last one. The mozzarella and chutney flavors were spot on.
I had a Caesar salad as a side. It came out before the entrée. The presentation was not as memorable as the other dishes, but the flavor delivered. The lettuce was crisp and well dressed.
The highlight here is clearly the steaks. We ordered two filet mignons. Mine was outstanding and easily the best I have had in the last seven years. I ordered medium rare. It was perfectly cooked, well rested, tender, and evenly pink throughout.
The second filet was ordered medium but was inconsistent. The edges were closer to medium while the center was rare. It still had great flavor with the garlic butter, but the cook was not as precise. Not enough to take away from the overall experience.
Dessert is where I should have played it safe with the house favorites like the peanut butter pie or banana pudding. I chose the crème brûlée. The custard was excellent, but the sugar top collapsed into a melted clump on first crack. The tiramisu was good and had a nice twist with Kahlúa and Baileys.
Alice and the team brought out a celebratory treat at the end, which was a great touch. The drinks were also excellent. The Pear Pressure was a standout and we were disappointed to hear it is seasonal. It felt thoughtfully crafted.
Overall, a memorable night and we will definitely be back.
