We had stopped by on a Friday evening a few weeks prior, but there was a 45 minute wait, which we couldn't do. We were able stop by again at lunchtime on a Saturday and were seated without delay.
We had checked out the menu online and knew exactly what we were going to order. Fried catfish for me and an oyster po boy for my wife. My catfish came with 2 sides and I went with garlic mashed potatoes and coleslaw. My meal was outstanding, I don't think fried catfish can be better than what I was served. The sides were excellent as well. My wife really enjoyed her po boy, she often orders an oyster po boy whenever we eat at a Cajun style restaurant and her sandwich was as good as any she has had.
We really enjoyed this restaurant, the service was great and there was live music. It isn't an inexpensive place, but we felt given the quality of the food, it was a good value. We look forward to eating here again.
Orleans Bistro is one of the best spots in the burg! Great food, great atmosphere. The Orleans seafood pasta is a 10/10! The catfish is amazing as well. Always quick service and a clean environment. My server Kerisha was awesome. Quick, attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. We couldn’t decide on which entree to go with and she gave great feedback that helped us decide! She checked on us regularly and was very friendly. Will be going back!

Our server Layla was outstanding. She navigated us to the best option on the menu and her picks did not disappoint!
We were passing through on our way to Williamsburg and picked this off the internet. My husband is a huge catfish fan and he has crawfish ettoufee over fried catfish over rice and said it was easily the best dish he's ever had anywhere. I had the shrimp and grits and they were creamy and luscious. The alligator sausage added a nice earthy note. We also had the southern egg rolls. Oh my. Enjoy if you stop!
Phenomenal from start to finish. From the Arnold Palmer(Sweet Tea & Lemonade) it was perfect. Not too sweet. The fried green tomato appetizer...delish😋. Catfish meal with mac n cheese, fried okra, & hushpuppies...omg! My daughter had yams. I tried them, they were delicious. Then we finished with the Beignets for dessert. These were ridiculous! They melted in our mouth.
