Had a great time eating at Jimmy The Greek. Ordered the Greek omelet and a French vanilla cappuccino. The omelet was really big. Make sure you bring your appetite. I couldn't finish it. The cappuccino was perfect. Lots of froth and not too sweet. I ordered lunch to go, a gyro which was nearly as authentic as what you get in Greece except it was missing paprika. But it was still incredible. I just sprinkled a little paprika on it when I got home. The service was fantastic, our server was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, sorry I didn't get her name. Would definitely go back there again. 5 stars for everything.
The place has great meals. The place got their own favorite for party. I went for one and with in my group too. Each lady are greatly appreciated for the way that they can carry one when you became regular clientele here. And the moment that you wait for your meal, it can be amazing. They get you when you are preparing approval on your new palate plate.
The food is great. The portion sizes are awesome. And I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the grits. I had the cinnamon roll French toast with grits and my husband had the country fried steak with toast and grits. The service was great. The atmosphere was very quiet and pleasant. The place was clean. Even though we have lived in Fredericksburg area for over 40 years, this was the first time we had been here. We will definitely be back. We want to try lunch and dinner. Thank you.
Jimmy the Greek is a charmingly decorated restaurant, and I bet it's even lovelier for night dining with all the twinkle lights they have hung. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived.
What impressed us most was how clean the place was. We even saw the staff wiping down the menus, which was awesome to see and showed a true commitment to cleanliness.
The menu had a lot to choose from, and I had a hard time deciding, but I eventually went with the fall special: banana and pecan waffles. They were soft and flavorful, a perfect choice. My husband ordered the pretzel feta burger, and he said it tasted like it was freshly made.
My own complaint and its not their fault, we were seated near a large group of very loud ladies so it made it hard to relax and enjoy our meal. Except for when they got their food, then it was lovely as they couldn't talk as much. 🤣
My first visit, I had to try the moussaka, one of my favorites. But the breakfasts looked fantastic, so I will definitely return. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, very cordial people, and everyone in my party enjoyed their meals.
