One of the best fried chicken near downtown Fredericksburg. Super friendly staff. Fried chicken is crispy and juicy, and certainly not lacking flavor. We also ordered the South Sando and the slaw goes really well with the sauce and the breast was juicy and tender. Sides have good portions. Tenders and Waffles are good option, well made waffle and the tenders pack the same punch on flavor and juiciness.

Prices are decent better than popeyes, They cook weird like up north type style new jersey short cuts. So they need to work on restroom hand faucet. They need to work on biscuit baking, the chicken is crispy and good fried chicken...tea and lemonade taste too syrup like......... but I'll it give another chance in the future.... but the food is good tho....

I had an amazing experience at Mama Fried Chicken! The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, full of flavor. Friendly staff, quick service, and great portions make this a spot I’ll definitely keep coming back to. Highly recommended! They serve Halal food, their restrooms clean and plenty of free parking spots

Best fried chicken around and the smash burgers are super good too. Found Mama’s not that long ago but have already been several times. Yes you’ll have to wait for your food but it comes out hot & fresh. Service is super friendly, asked their opinion about the coleslaw and was offered a sample (told if it got us to come back it was worth it). Prices are good and they have daily specials.
