Just what the community needed — flavor, vibes, and hospitality all in one place! Riddim & Spice absolutely exceeded expectations. The restaurant was immaculate, the food was chef’s kiss amazing, and every dish came out seasoned with love and good energy.
The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive from the moment we walked in, and the owners? Simply the sweetest people ever. You can tell this isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a passion project served on a plate.
Listen… RUN, don’t walk. Your taste buds will thank you later. Let’s show them some love and welcome them to the community the right way! We already know this spot is about to have a “waitlist and no parking” type of future. 🔥🍽️👏
Parking:
Lots of parking both in front of the restaurant and across the street in the park and ride lot
Food:
Excellent. I've been to a few Jamaican spots, but this was excellent. The seasoning was just right, the portions, presentation was on point. Ordered the Escovitch snapper, and the steamed snapper, plus a side of oxtail. Had rice and peas with cabbage as the sides. All tasted great.
Atmosphere:
The decor is beautiful with the rich green and gold colors of the Jamaican flag. Cool quiet ambient, neat tables and cutlery. Clean and minimalist.
Great Jamaican food. Highly recommend.
I came to this establishment last night with my friend and enjoyed my time here. The food was delicious and fresh, the staff were courteous and the establishment was clean. The owner Donald came over and spoke with us for a bit and told us of upcoming things that they have in store like introducing alcoholic drinks, karaoke night and desserts. I liked that the food that we had was not automatically spicy, I cant really do spicy but it wasn't lacking flavor. They gave us a small order of assorted fruit while we waited, I thought that was a nice touch. I plan on returning.
I was delighted to find this restaurant in Stafford. We needed something different and authentic. We arrived right before a thunderstorm so there were only a few customers but service was fast.
I ordered the Snapper Escovich with red beans and rice and plantains. My husband had the curry goat with the same sides and cabbage. We also ordered two beef patties.
The beef patties were delicious. The crust was perfectly crispy and flaky just the way I remember. The snapper was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. The sides were the perfect complements. The curry goat was tender and very flavorful. I am excited to patron this place as often as I can. I did take a photo after I started eating so I flipped the fish to get a “cleaner’ picture lol.
The restaurant is nice and spacious with lots of seating. The bathrooms are very clean which I always appreciate.
Best Jamaican food I’ve ever had throughout my life. The food was amazingly seasoned and cooked! The atmosphere was brilliant, great music choice as well! For a business that just started, it’s amazing! Unfortunately they are short on staff, so if anyone who’s reading this is interested in a job, you should help out here! The food is really great but they just need more staff so the food could be passed out faster.
