Gonzo delivers the real thing. From the first bowl to the table it's clear this kitchen takes ramen seriously — the broth has the depth that only comes from proper time and technique, the noodles arrive with the right bite, and the presentation is genuinely Japanese in its care: clean bowls, deliberate arrangement, nothing sloppy or rushed. It's the kind of authenticity that's hard to find outside Japan, and it shows in every detail of the mains.
The one miss of the evening was the cucumber salad, which felt like an afterthought next to everything else — little evidence of preparation and none of the pickling depth you'd expect; essentially cut cucumber in a dish. On a menu this committed to doing things properly, it stood out precisely because everything around it was so good.
That quibble aside, this is a ramen shop that respects the craft, and we left already planning a return visit. Highly recommended.
Gonzo Ramen is hands down our number one ramen spot. It’s my absolute favorite. I always order the tonkotsu (specifically the black version), and it is SO good! Rich, flavorful, perfectly balanced. It’s one of those bowls you think about later because it’s that good.
The karaage is also amazing, crispy, juicy, and a must-order every time. They have a great selection of drinks and imported Japanese beers, which makes it even more fun.
We’ve been several times, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. We even went for my daughter’s birthday, and they gave her free tokens to use in the toy vending machines in the Gonzo store next door. Such a thoughtful touch!
Great food, great vibe, consistently great service. We’ll keep coming back🤩

Great ramen place, staff is amazing and the decor is fantastic. We had the black ramen and it was really good. My only complaint is that the broth is not served super hot, so the ramen goes cold rather quickly and then you have black garlic oil greasy feeling on your lips. Overall, a great ramen place. The tonkotsu broth is rich and creamy, perfectly paired with several toppings. Recommend adding some chili oil if you'd like a kick to the black option as it doesn't have any spice to it at all.

Super yummy! I adored the miso ramen. Most of the time the pork in the ramen is really tough but the pork slices were tender. Flavor was great. Pork katsu was also perfectly fried and tender. Great flavor of curry. Goyza was yummy. Great dining experience. Loved all the Japanese decor. They even have fortunes.

Fun atmosphere, excellent ramen and friendly staff. The house made chili oil is fantastic. We tried all 4 ramen and the favorite of the group was the spicy miso. Second pick was the black garlic. But honestly, all were very good.
