Best dining experience I’ve ever had in Cape May. Bread service, salad, and dessert come with your entree. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked; the turf & surf was excellent and balanced. The ocean views were gorgeous throughout the evening. I understand why people compete for reservations here, it was a stellar dining experience—don’t let it elude you if you’re visiting.
Went to dinner on a Thursday night. Food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. Arrive about an hour early to find parking in the summer season. My wife and I enjoyed the tuna tartare appetizer, tomahawk and twin tails for two, and had grilled vegetables on the side. The after dinner sweets were a nice touch.
One suggestion I have is to work on presentation, especially when it comes to a $200 ($195) entree like the tomahawk and twin tails. An entree like that should knock your socks off when put on the table. Our entree had the meat separated from the bone, bone placed horizontally with the meat in the middle, and tails on the side. The plate seemed very busy. Instead, present it on a plank, meat attached and not separated with the tails accompanying. I’m attaching a picture of our meal and an AI generated image with my suggestion. I feel a different presentation would take that meal to the next level.

Absolutely delicious meal . Everything tasted delightful. I didn’t picture the salad but we loved the dressing and the pickled veggies that were on it . i cannot wait to go again

Last night was an absolute 10/10 dining experience! 🍽️✨ One of the best restaurants we’ve been to in a very long time. Everything was beyond amazing from the food to the service to the atmosphere.
We had the filet, and it was cooked to perfection. And the truffle mashed potatoes?! Absolutely outrageous. 🤤 I could have eaten an entire bowl of them!
Our waiter was also wonderful so kind, attentive, and genuinely pleasant, which made the whole experience even better. And don’t even get me started on dessert… it was so good and the perfect way to end an incredible meal.
We left already talking about when we could come back. Highly, highly recommend this restaurant! If you’re looking for an amazing meal and a great experience from start to finish, this is definitely the place.

We finally got in to Primal by Mia and it lived up to the hype! One of our favorite meals of all time. The service, views, and food were exceptional. The shrimp cocktail consisted of 6 collasal shrimp that were fresh and delicious. We split the porterhouse steak for two. It was one on the best steaks we have ever had. The Yukon side potatoes are to die for. The mushrooms and onions were in a delicious butter sauce. Even the mixed vegetables were excellent. They added a complimentary delicious dessert as well. We left very happy and full. It was a perfect evening. We will definitely be returning.
