Peace Pie specializes in gourmet ice cream sandwiches, featuring a unique concept where a layer of pie filling is nestled between ice cream and buttery shortbread cookies. They offer over 30 handcrafted flavors and operate from a charming 'little window setup' in Cape May. The establishment provides third-party delivery, catering, and pre-order customer pickup options.
Customers generally find the ice cream sandwiches delicious and the flavors amazing, with many expressing a desire to return. However, common criticisms include the perception that the products are overpriced for their size and that they are pre-made rather than fresh-to-order. Some reviews also highlight inconsistent customer service and a lack of on-site amenities like proper seating and trash disposal.
Peace Pie is part of a larger brand with 6 locations. They also offer frozen shipped packs for online orders, allowing customers to enjoy their unique desserts from anywhere.
Peace Pie is open daily from 11 AM to 11 PM, suggesting it's a suitable spot for a sweet treat throughout the day and into the evening. It appears to be operational year-round, as evidenced by a customer visiting in December.
