Can’t give enough stars! Friendly service, nice variety on the menu, prepared quickly, and every bite was fresh and delicious. Lb well steamed and seasoned shrimp hit the spot. Crab cake was great, clam chowder out of this world, and lobster Mac n cheese was perfection- creamy on bottom, crunchy on top, nice hunks of sweet lobster throughout. This foodie was happy with her takeout dinner!
Dockside Dave’s is awesome! The employees were extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. It’s totally worth a visit if you’re in Cape May!

The lobster roll sandwich was great as were the crab cakes and fried fish. The New England Clam Chowder was delicious! Spiced in a way I've never seen. Highly recommend! Friendly and efficient service contribute to a wonderful meal.

I recently traveled for vacation for 10 days throughout New York and New Jersey, and I must say, the food was absolutely incredible. In fact, the meals were so good that we returned the next day to try different options.
We highly recommend the filet mignon sandwich (which we ordered both days), calamari, lobster mac and cheese, and dock fries. The crab cake sandwich was also really delicious, but I should have paired it with something different. Since I already had crab on the fries, it didn't stand out as much, and the fries were so tasty that they overshadowed the sandwich.

Great location for West Cape May and CM Pointers to pick up your seafood. Great fresh seafood. My go-to location when I want to have a nice home made seafood dish. Highly recommend the giant shrimp, scallops and the Halibut.
I have replicated some of the recipes in Cape Mays finest restaurants from DDs seafood, such as Cricket Club’s Halibut special.
For my daughter’s birthday I made shrimp and scallops scampi and modified it to a carbonara with casarecce pasta. The seafood always so good.

7/6/25 update - added photos. Look at those halibut “steaks”. Perfectly cut thick like a filet mignon. This place has great Seafood…..Having halibut tonight with corn on the cob and Jersey tomatoes topped with fresh mozzarella basil and basalmic glaze.
