Laid back restaurant serving up lots of delicious food and drinks. It does get busy so you may want to come early or reserve a table. Both pizzas were good. The size is a bit karger than a personal. They have a thin slightly crispy crust and there was cooper sharp cheese on them. I enjoyed the zucchini app. It was crispy and not greasy. I didnt care for the garlic sauce with it. It tasted like a lemon mayo to me. The fig-tini had the right amount of sweetness without being overly sweet. The staff was very friendly. Bathrooms were clean and there was an empty lot but we got there when they 1st opened.
Overall, this restaurant seems to be a favorite in the area, so we were excited to give it a try. Our experience was pretty average. Nothing was necessarily terrible, but there also wasn’t much that really stood out.
🍽️ Food
The food wasn’t anything to rave about. The one thing I really enjoyed was the fries. They tasted freshly cut and still had the skin on them, which I love.
Unfortunately, the crab and shrimp cake did not taste fresh and wasn’t good, so we didn’t eat it. Everything else was pretty okay, but nothing really stood out or made me feel like I had to come back specifically for the food.
🙋🏽♀️ Service
The service was decent. Our waiter was very respectful and nice, but he didn’t seem to have a lot of knowledge about some things, so he may have been new, which is completely understandable.
The manager also came by to check on us, which I appreciated. There were just a few small things that could have been better. We never received a fork, so when our food came out, we had to wait quite a while before we could actually start eating.
Overall, everyone we interacted with was nice and respectful.
🏠 Atmosphere
The atmosphere was fine. It felt like your typical casual restaurant. Nothing really stood out to me about the atmosphere, but it was comfortable and seemed to be a popular spot with people in the area.

We loved it here and definitely would come back. We searched comprehensively for a special dinner experience for our last night in Cape May, and initially we were taken aback because we could not get a reservation before 7pm on a pre-season Tuesday in May.
So we went early (no problem being seated around 5:30 or so, but it did seem full an hour later) and were we ever rewarded. Everything was simply perfect, including Vicki, our veteran and down to earth waiter. When we are unsure of things, she provided expert guidance with kindness and wisdom.
The mussels appetizer are an experience not to be missed - save the bread for lapping up its saucy juice. My wife loved the pork chop - its huge and she took half home for lunch. I devoured the blackened fish of the day over bok choy. Both simply were outstanding.
If/when again in Cape May again, we'd certainly come back. With a reservation!

I stopped in for lunch on a weekday and was seated right away. I ordered the lobster bisque and the mussels. The lobster bisque was delicious and full of flavor. While the mussels were cooked well, the sauce just wasn't my favorite. The service was excellent; the waitress was very attentive and checked in several times to make sure I was enjoying my meal. Overall, it was a good lunch experience.

One of the best lunches we have had. Quality was consistent across everything. I was craving some something Cajun/spicy and the waitress was sweet enough to check with the kitchen and recommend just the right dish. It was a bell pepper cream sauce pasta with blackened shrimp and perfectly cooked broccoli, topped with a generous shaving of cheese! The kids meal pizza would put the wood fired pizza places at shame . Great service, food and ambience.
