Just wow! Gourmet by all means. European quality in Key West y’all 🙌. We had seared tuna salad and mussels pasta and the key lime pie. Every bite is amazing. Add a super friendly service, ocean view, breeze and a Mediterranean feel with flowers on the patio and chickens running around. Don’t forget a free parking and snorkelling on the beach right there. This is a good deal. Thank you, Salute!👋
The staff couldn’t keep the water glasses full, but food was excellent. From the time we sat down to order was about 10 minutes, but ordering to eating was about the same. We started with a couple of bowls of Artichoke Red Pepper Soup. My wife’s shrimp were Mahi Mahi was perfectly cooked. The Hamburger raised no complaints from our friends. I had the grilled grouper over linguini! All was very good.

Nice view while having a meal. We got to the restaurant right as they opened for an early lunch, so it was quiet and peaceful. More of a hole in the wall type place. Not super clean. Very casual atmosphere. The food was average. We got the blackened Mahi penne dish and it was very bland and the sauce was watered down. We also got a fish sandwich with a lime tartar sauce and side of potato salad, which was pretty good. Overall, it was a fine place to go for our very first meal arriving on the island, but I wouldn’t go back personally.

This place is awesome. We love Blue Heaven so we had to come here and it did not disappoint. I loved everything here. We got their special gazpacho and it was so good. We also tried their calamari because we heard it was “the best on the island” and it was incredible. However it’s hard to compare this dish to other calamari dishes because calamari is usually breaded and this one is not. I was skeptical at first but it’s truly amazing.

To look at this place from the outside, you would think it was a place to grab a burger and a beer. Boy were we wrong, we looked at the menu and thought it couldn't be real. This is a gourmet restaurant on the beach. The food is outstanding. Fresh seafood is there forte, and we enjoyed the shrimp and crab cakes. The you-peel key west shrimp was probably the best I've ever had.
Our servers were prompt and friendly. The prices were about what you'd expect from a good restaurant.
If you're in Key West and looking for a beach vibe with great food. Don't miss Salute on the Beach.
