Highly recommend if visiting Key West. Another hidden gem about a block from Duval St. Michelin recommended restaurant. Really cool atmosphere backyard with live music. Everything we had was exceptional. We started with one of their nightly specials the black grouper ceviche and it was everything you could ever want in an appetizer on a hot night. Cold, fresh and loaded with flavor. Loved that it was served with homemade plantain chips. I tried the yellowtail snapper which is one of their signature dishes and my husband tried their pork tenderloin. Every bite has you wanting more of both dishes. The snapper was light flavorful and I could literally bathe in the buerre blanc sauce it was so good. The paste it came with was cooked perfectly and was flavored so nicely on its own but adding a little of that sauce was the icing on the cake. The pork tenderloin was so different from everything we typically order but had a great balance of salty, sweet and carribbean flavor. My husband ate every last bite! No trip to Blue Heaven would have been complete without trying their key lime pie with a towering meringue. This was the perfect blend of tart and sweet not one flavor was more overwhelming than the other. Our server Adrian was so pleasant and made great recommendations. After dinner even informed us they were more widely known for their breakfast.
Blue Heaven was one of our favorite places in Key West — we ended up going twice during our trip because it was that good!
The first time, we stopped in for cocktails and key lime pie, and wow… the key lime pie was hands-down the best I’ve ever had. Huge, fluffy, perfectly tart, and absolutely unforgettable. The key lime martini was also to die for.
We loved it so much that we came back after a yoga class for brunch, and the food completely lived up to the hype. I ordered the lobster eggs Benedict, and it was honestly the best Benedict I’ve ever tasted. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared.
The atmosphere is pure Key West charm — colorful, relaxed, and fun, with roaming roosters and chickens wandering around the outdoor seating area. There’s also an amazing gift shop with unique finds that’s worth browsing before you leave.
Highly recommend Blue Heaven for brunch, cocktails, dessert, or just the full Key West experience.

Great place. Highly recommend you have to go because it’s a touristy place. The Keylime was pretty good. Me was fluffy as I was hoping, but still pretty good. And especially if you like me and the Benedict was really good. I had the shrimp one, and the shrimp and grits looked good. Overall, love the chickens, a lot of restaurants down there. Have chickens out and about.

Blue Heaven was a favorite stop on our trip in Key West! Our friends told us to get there early as they get busy we arrived around 10am on a Tuesday & waited about 15-20 minutes, we were able to relax across the street at Andy's Cabana & have a drink they have a cute stage & it looks like the evenings it becomes a lively venue! Breakfast was delicious, I had a BEC & we shared their famous pancakes-it definitely lived up to the hype! Didn't have room for they keylime & will need to revisit for their dinner menu. The best part, was the laid back atmosphere & vibes of free-roaming roosters and chickens wandering around while we ate made for such a fun, uniquely KW experience. The service was attentive, friendly, and we never felt rushed, staff seemed to truly enjoy their jobs & it showed. If you're visiting Key West, Blue Heaven is absolutely worth the stop for the food, the tropical ambiance, and the unforgettable experience. We will definitely come back!🐓🐤🏝️

Blue Heaven is one of those unforgettable Key West experiences that belongs on everyone’s list! The open-air tropical setting, live music, and famous roaming chickens create an atmosphere you simply can’t duplicate.
I’ve always loved coming here for breakfast, but this was my first time for dinner, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations.
The Jamaican Jerk Chicken was outstanding. It had the perfect balance of spice, was incredibly tender, and bursting with Caribbean flavor. The grouper was exceptionally fresh, flaky, and cooked to perfection.
And then there was dessert… the Bananas Foster was the best I’ve ever had. Rich, buttery, perfectly caramelized, and an unforgettable ending to an incredible meal.
The cocktails were creative, the service was friendly and attentive, and the entire experience captured everything that makes Key West so special.
Whether you’re stopping in for their legendary breakfast or an amazing dinner under the stars, Blue Heaven delivers a memorable dining experience every time.
