Everyone knows that Pizzeria Beddia has great pizza. Delicious, lots of varieties, excellent service. Chill ambience and staff. Quiet too - no excessively loud music to top over. Easy to have a relaxed quiet conversation. Located on a tiny street parallel to and between Front Street and Frankford Avenue, in the heart of Fishtown.
What you may not know though is that they also have two varieties of soft serv ice cream - sweet cream and espresso. Their own (of course). They are spectacular - creamy, rich and smooth. Flavors that are subtle and satisfying. Small batch at its best. Philadelphia local ice cream purveyors are the best you'll find in the country. Of these, Pizzeria Beddia soft serve is among the best in the city. You can order it at the bar as well. So, come for the pizza and do yourself a favor and don't leave without this dessert. Or, skip the pizza and just come for the ice cream.
If I could give only one restaurant 5 stars, it would have to be this one. The restaurant was aesthetically pleasing, both inside and out. The service was phenomenal; I have to shout out Nick and Dallas for being such friendly, attentive, and overall excellent servers who catered to our every need! The food was also so delicious. Without a doubt, we will be back to try the rest of the menu. The pizza was the perfect combination of softness and crunch. The plane cheese was a bit oily, but still wonderful. The shredded parmigiana really elevated it. It sounds a bit weird, but you have to get the potato pizza, my friends and I were hooked from the first bite!!!! I highly recommend Pizzeria Beddia to everyone and would go as far as saying it’s the best pizza in Philly!
So the pizza dough was the best pizza we ever had, crunchy and thin and tasty!
The cheese on pizza were perfect.
Overall loved the pizza. I wished they had more variety.
The salami was okay nothing especial. We also had soft serve which was really creamy and delicious.
Overall, I can say this was the dough on the pizza was the best I ever had and the cheese and taste was also great.
Definitely would try to come back to try other pizzas. The one we had was the number 1 on the list which we added mushrooms to it.
stopped by here for food since we were in the area. place is so busy, def recommend a reservation but we just ordered #2 for takeout. place seemed like a vibe tho with both indoor and outdoor seating (honestly looked like a cute place for a date).
to the important stuff. pizza was yum. the cream wasn’t too overpowering and the greens were plentiful. i want to try the hot honey pizza next
we also got the caesar salad. they are very much into big leaves. but dressing was delicious and it was a great combo :)
Beddia’s corn pizza has done it again! We came here with friends and every food item was wonderfully prepared and service was amazing. The soft serve is currently espresso and sweet cream and cannot recommend both more. The beans and red cat cheese is a must-have app!
