We got in line about 9:30am on a Saturday. Waited about 25 minutes until we got to order and then about another 20 minutes before the food came out. And it was soooo worth it! It actually didn’t feel like because my friend and I just chatted and caught up while we waited. Then when the food came, after the camera ate too 🤭, it was silent bc we were devouring the food! Best pancakes! Couldn’t decide between the OG and the Middle Child so we got both! (The leftovers reheat well.) I absolutely love breakfast burritos so I opted for the avocado and bacon one (minus the jalapeños bc I’m a wimp hehe) and it was everything I wanted! The salsa verde gave it a nice fresh kick! The bacon was cooked crispy as it always should be! The egg was fluffy and I love that they put a hash brown in it. Sharp American cheese is the way to go! And as for drinks, loved the CLEMONADE! Strawberry milk matcha was pretty good too but I’d get the CLEMONADE again when I go back to try more! And get the pancakes again. Probably both again bc I couldn’t decide which I loved more!
If you’re looking for a breakfast spot in Philadelphia that gets everything right, Middle Child Clubhouse is it.
From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place is built with intention. they guy in the front is the BEST, I include his picture as I don’t know his name, The attention to detail in the decor, the atmosphere, the presentation, and even the little touches throughout the space make the experience feel special. The vibe is effortlessly cool without trying too hard.
The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, creative, and packed with flavor. Every bite lived up to the hype. On top of that, the customer service was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, making the whole experience even better.
This has officially become my favorite place to have brekkie in Philadelphia, and it’s one of those places you’ll keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

Lets gooo!!! So i finally came to this spot after being told the pancakes are amazing. There was a short wait suggest getting here early. Coffee is pretty solid had a straight black with half and half. I ordered the burrito which was soo good with the jalapeño mayo sauce. So freaking good!! Also order latke'd hash brown whic was good but not a fan of the dile sauce would just suggest the sour cream. The pancake with the orange citris flavor syrup was great. Price wise a little high but when using quality ingredients thats expected. Over all i would definitely revisit.

Foods great and the service is even better. Smartest thing is letting us get our own stuff off the "green table" like water, silverware, and our own to go boxes. We got there 20 minutes before they closed it was lined out the door but they served us anyway. The staff 100% are great at their jobs!! The toilet seats pretty hilarious

Honestly a bit disappointed with this one but it wasn’t all bad. For first time folks - you walk in grab a menu and order on line. Then you sit down and the food comes to you. We got the breakfast sandwiches with some add ons and the famous pancake with honey. The vibes in here were great, service at the counter was very kind. It does seem like it’d be a little stressful to come here with a bigger group due to seating. Sandwiches were yummy nothing out of this world. However the pancake was WAY too sweet. I only had two bites and we had to leave the rest. I think the honey was just way too overwhelming and the pancake feels more like a pound cake dessert to me. Id say it’s pretty heavy for breakfast. Overall wed come back but I do feel like it was a bit over hyped for me.
