Visited this place on Christmas Eve in December 2025, and overall had a really good time. It’s a small, slightly dark space with a cozy, intimate vibe — perfect for a chill night out.
The cocktails here were definitely the highlight — really well-crafted. I even asked the bartender to make me a tequila-based drink, and it turned out to be amazing. They also have a unique concept of a rotating welcome drink; when I visited, it was wheat-infused water, which was quite different and interesting.
The only downside would be the food. The menu is quite limited, and even the available options could be improved. It’s not the kind of place you’d go to for a full meal.
That said, it’s a great spot for drinks post-dinner or if you’re mainly going for cocktails and a good vibe. I’d definitely visit again!
Barbet and Pals feels like some boho mountain living room reimagined as a serious bar. From drinks to food, you would keep coming back if you have been once.
Gol-Gol Bread arrives with Chilli Fennel Butter and Nolen Gur Butter, a pairing that swings between heat and caramel with disarming ease. Mrs. Barbet, Rana’s personal dish, chicken satay with desi chimichurri and a caramelised onion foam, is comfort food dressed up as craft. I Louve Bombay Fish!, a bombil fry with chutney and Malwani crumble, is the kind of dish that makes you wish every bar took food this seriously.
On the drinks side, the establishment holds very close to their heart, the art of in-house concoctions, from unique mocktails to incredibly concoted GI tag focused homegrown drinks. Gundryani (Jose Cuervo Reposado, Gundryani Cordial, Acid Mix, Pisiyu Loon) is a cocktail that tells you exactly where it comes from, Kumaon, specifically, in its soul. Panache built on Indri Single Malt with Kahwa cordial, saffron tincture, chocolate bitters, and strawberry and cheese soda, is the most ambitious pour on the menu and earns every layer. Cherry On Top and Pals Lugdi, the latter a vodka-forward build of passionfruit, fermented rice, mulberry, and pink peppercorn, round out a list that is, in every sense, a bartender’s bar.
Incredible in-house concoctions like GUNDRYANI and food creations like Mrs. Barbet at Barbet and Pals make the cocktail menu and the kitchen speak the same language.

Loved the service, food, cocktails. For a single diner how attentive they were I would say is as good service you can get at a fine dine place or better.
The food is so good you can just come for it alone. The drinks were good too. Only had a few highballs. So would take a few visits so drink the whole menu.

In the endless bars of GK2, Barbet and Pals truly rise above the rest in drinks, food, and hospitality.
The cozy ambience is complemented by music that every age group can vibe with. The drinks speak for themselves, clearly showcasing the meticulous planning behind every serve.
As soon as you enter and take a seat, you’re welcomed with their in-house “Hydration Water,” made with roasted wheat, cucumber, and lime. This is followed by a bergamot-flavoured kombucha, which perfectly prepares your palate.
Each cocktail features ingredients deeply rooted in Uttarakhand’s culture. Every sip reflects the region’s flavors and heritage, making the experience both unique and memorable.
Tried 4 cocktails each one had different and Every cocktail is a banger—if a tequila highball is your go-to, “Gundrayani” is a must-try.
When it comes to food, the variety is impressive, offering vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, including ham, fish, and prawns.
Highly recommended for those who dare to explore and enjoy Uttarakhand’s culture and cuisine through an exceptional dining and drinking experience.
