Finally scored a seat at Her Place Supper Club — one of the most coveted tasting menus and one of the hardest reservations to land. With just 26 seats, it’s no surprise that booking a table feels like winning the lottery. After earning its first Michelin star last year, the hype is absolutely real.
Every course was thoughtful, beautifully executed, and served to perfection — the kind of dinner where you slow down and savor every bite. Chef Amanda, Lauren, and Danielle were all incredibly sweet and lovely, taking the time to introduce every single plate and chat with guests, which made the experience feel even more special and personal. The entire staff was warm, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish.
And that Rabbit Pie… hands down my perfect bite of the night. Rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. One of those unforgettable meals you keep thinking about long after the last course. ✨🍽️
Amazing! One of the best restaurants in Philly or anywhere for that matter. Loved the supper club concept where everyone eats the same thing. Loved how the chef explained the entire menu to the whole restaurant at once. All of the dishes were all excellent. And I find most tasting menus have some very good items and some that aren't that good. The mackerel crudo was one of the best things I've ever eaten. My recommendation (which i know is worth nothing) is that it should always be on the menu. Other standouts were the roasted lamb and mushroom tortellini. And yet the other dishes were still very close to the best ones. We did the pasta and softshel crab add on. The profiterole for dessert was a great ending. Must try! Worth the effort to work to get a res.

Worth the wait. This was our last Philly Michelin m-starred restaurant to try. It’s the absolute best. The food was extraordinary and I’m already dreaming of my next meal there. My particular favorites included the buckwheat tart with morels and both pasta courses (one was an add on). Sadly I will now never feel satiated unless I’m eating Chef Schulman’s triangoli. A beautiful and intimate space with incredible care by the entire staff. Amanda Schulman was incredibly welcoming and engaged with the diners. Wine pairing was outstanding as was my Negroni made with Bruto Americano. The marzipan rhubarb cake was the stuff dreams are made of. So, so, so happy after this meal. Did I mention? Attentive and wonderful, wonderful staff. Thank you for an amazing evening!

To start with let’s say this is a very unique approach, and I appreciate both their seasonal choices and connection with the local providers of ingredients. I was super excited to eat here and it all started wonderfully during the cocktail gathering part of the evening with some really delicious hors d'oeuvres (especially the little fish bites and also the lobster ones). However, upon being seated for the meal, I was unfortunately quite disappointed during the first half of the evening as none of the first few courses were pleasant at all. I’m not a fan of socca, preferring the panisse from the Marseille region to this Niçoise approach of preparing chickpea batter and the brandade topping lacked flavor. The worst of the first few courses was the asparagus niçoise which ended up just being a vinegary mess. Speaking with some others afterwards they also agreed that that was the low point of the meal. The bone marrow with fava beans was rather oily as was the lovage leek sausage dish. Luckily, it improved for the second half with the ravioli, the pork chops, as well as the dessert being quite delicious. But that was a couple of untasty dishes too much for me to have been satisfied with the overall experience.

It was an unforgettable dinner. The moment I stepped inside, I felt as if I had been invited to a close friend’s or family member’s home for a warm, intimate meal. The space is small, cozy, and wonderfully personal. The two chefs prepared and served each course with perfect timing, offering fresh, beautifully crafted dishes one after another without a single moment of dullness.
It was a joy not only to taste the food but also to watch the careful, thoughtful preparation behind every plate. The flavors were excellent, the progression of courses felt seamless, and I left with that perfect feeling of satisfied fullness.
There is no doubt that this restaurant fully deserves its Michelin one-star rating. A truly memorable dining experience.
The only thing I found disappointing was that, although I mentioned it was our wedding anniversary when making the reservation, nothing was acknowledged at all. The staff’s prepared guests’ birthday cakes, special party hats, cards and even a moment where the lights were turned off so everyone in the room could celebrate together. In contrast, our table didn’t receive even a simple mention of our anniversary.
