I go out of my way to buy their homemade kimchi! They have all types of kimchi and side-dishes, and personally I prefer the spiciness and freshness of their kimchi over what you can buy at a big asian grocer. Their kimbap is also excellent. They also have delicious fruit smoothies that people will line up for during lunch. They’re definitely worth lining up for.
Kimchi was displayed on shelf, picked up two containers of kimchi *price was not marked on kimchi. Got to the register, noticed one container of kimchi had a string of hair in it. Gave to cashier she did not discard it only placed it to the side! The other one I did purchase - kimchi was not good at all. Extremely dry looked to be old/ expired even tasted as if it wasn’t fresh. Went to South Korea last summer - Do not recommend!

Not nearly as good as it used to be. Produce is often past its prime and, as others note, items can be expired and unpriced. Yesterday I ignored the big bin of browned brussel sprouts (the person tending the cash register seemed uninterested when I reported the problem), and I also passed up the romaine lettuce heads with rotted stems. The grapes I bought are now already soft and the cauliflower ($5.99!) is flecked with black and has withered leaves. Seems like they overstock and leave produce on the shelf after it should be removed. Again, it’s a shame! This used to be a favorite place—a neighborhood gem.

Really nice grocery place, but the smoothies in the back were really pulpy and needed more ice because they were too thick ☹️. You can tell the ingredients were fresh though.

Lovely little market with everything that you need. Warm friendly service and fresh Korean foods such as japchae and kimbap
