Stopped into this French hidden gem over in the Mar Vista area and was very pleased with my entire experience. I’m a huge fan of French cuisine, and have already been to all the other LA options, so was glad to find this new one to try. Inside is quite large and all seating is indoor, they don’t have any outside seating. Our server was very polite and everything that we ordered arrived quickly. They don’t have a dedicated parking lot, but free neighborhood street parking is easy to find.
I started off with the Pâté en CroÛte which was wonderful. I tend to like creamier pate but this a nice and hearty country version. Next came the Spring Pea Soup which had nice flavors but I just was not a fan of, that is more on me though because I am not a fan of pea flavor, I would have preferred onion soup. For my entree I chose the Steak au Poivre which was fabulous. It was cooked perfectly and had great flavors. For dessert we chose the Strawberry Roll Cake and thought it was delicious. We ordered 2 inches but wished we would have got more. Overall a fantastic French dinner in a great setting, I would recommend to anyone.
Had a great dinner there tonight! This is my second time here and the staff is great, like small things that are superior service - noticing you want extra gravy, giving you a glass of champagne cause they forgot your knives, and were very accommodating with our stroller on the patio. Food is amazing, and wine is top notch! Go here!!
The ambiance feels modern, slightly dreamy, and stylish without trying too hard—perfect for a night out that feels a bit special.
The menu leans into elevated comfort with a creative twist. Dishes are beautifully plated, and there’s a clear attention to detail in both flavor and presentation. Some items feel familiar but refined, making it easy to enjoy while still feeling like you’re experiencing something new.
I love the restroom—this made me smile and reminded of French core that always connects me with its nonchalant, free, rebellious, elegant but funny sense.
Really fun restaurant with good vibes. I highly recommend sitting at the counter facing the kitchen. We did the 7 course menu and added the mushroom appetizer. Everything was amazing and the chefs and servers were very friendly. We will be back.
After living in LA for nearly a decade, I've finally found a restaurant that warrants multiple visits a year. The atmosphere and service is very friendly, welcoming, and warm. The food and wine are delicious, especially the tasting menu. It's a great date night spot, or place to celebrate with a smaller group. So glad to have this French inspired restaurant in the neighborhood! Cheers.
