Union Square Hospitality Group restaurants rarely disappoint, and for the most part, this place keeps up that reputation.
We ordered the Pizza Bianca, Tuna Tonnato, Escarole, Smoked Carrots, Wood Fired Whole Trout, Chicken Milanese, and Lemon Torta. The absolute highlight was the Wood Fired Whole Trout—perfectly crispy on the outside, and the pickled green mustard inside was a brilliant combination.
As other reviews have mentioned, the seasoning was inconsistent. Some dishes were overwhelmingly salty. The arugula served with the Chicken Milanese actually had visible clumps of salt on it, making it completely inedible but fried chicken was great. Because the meal overall leaned heavy and salty, the Lemon Torta at the end was the perfect, refreshing palate cleanser we needed.
As for the service, our server seemed friendly at first but was virtually non-existent for the rest of the meal. He walked past our table multiple times to attend to others without so much as a glance or a quick check-in. Thankfully, other staff members stepped in to help us after waiting for a while, and the busboy, back server were incredibly sharp, attentive, and saved the experience!
The Lemon Torta literally came with three clear fingerprints on top. Pretty weird, but I didn't even have the energy to bring it up, so I just ate it and left.
Overall, the food was pretty good, but they definitely need and more attentive hospitality.
Incredible meal with my best friends! Had a concert at MSG right after this meal and the staff was just so helpful with getting the courses out in a curated way. I would say our favorites were the carpaccio tonnato, focaccia (Wow hands down THE FLUFFIEST), orcecchiette with ramps, and onion tart (GIANT portion! So happy), and we absolutely loved the rainbow cookie and mint white chocolate gelato at the end. Excellent meal from start to finish, with really helpful and accommodating staff. Thanks Danny Meyer - you never cease to be the best host!

Not sure if I went on an off day but all the dishes had an overwhelming taste of pecorino and/or was salty.
Starting with the salad, way too much vinegar. It was difficult to enjoy. The pizza Bianca was too salty and oily. Their signature onion tart the flavors were overwhelming that the 2 of us could only share half of it. The smashed potatoes were good. The pasta was undercooked. The steak was good but nothing special.
Service was friendly but the server did forget to bring our 2nd Coke to us when HE was the one that offered it to us… And it only came after we were done eating. Then we found out it was $6 for each Coke, no wonder he wanted to offer it.
If you enjoy salty, strong, pungent flavors you will like Ci Siamo.

Beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere and friendly service. The lemon tart was excellent—refreshing and one of my favorite parts of the meal. The crab pasta and rigatoni were both good with fresh ingredients but a bit on the more salty/tasty side; i would say they didn’t quite stand out. The prosciutto was unfortunately too dry for my taste. Overall, a lovely dining experience and food was delicious nothing wow though.
Their service wasn’t too attentive though. There’s quite a wait. Even with reservation they asked you to hang out in the bar area or seating at the front and wait for about 15-20mins before they seat you, which is not very efficient especially with the reservations. On the other hand, they were quick to bring you the check and kick you out as soon as you finish.

This restaurant has a beautiful dining room & I love eating there during the day because of the natural light.
Each dish was executed well. You can’t go wrong with any of the pastas, but my personal favorites are the tagliatelle and cavatelli (and rigatoni if you like cheese & creamy sauces). Other highlights were the roasted carrots, verdure fritti, and hangar steak.
For dessert, the basque cheesecake and gelatos are both creamy & not too sweet. And the Italian rainbow cookies are wonderfully soft with a nice almond flavor + large bit of chocolate.
Thank you to our incredibly kind server, Madrid, and the whole team for such an amazing meal!
