Our party had a lovely time. Delicious & inviting food, friendly service, and great cocktails. The premises are located on an old farm which is beautifully presented, and the decor is tastefully thematic of the venue. The food is grown locally on site, and the grounds are stunning. Be careful coming up the drive/lane, as it is quite bumpy and unpaved.
Food was fresh and nice. It was quite busy on a Sunday lunch sitting and made it difficult to get the server's attention to order for additional drinks and dessert. The restaurant had two long rows of tables, interesting layout but also made it tight/awkward to serve food and clear the tables. The dining experience in the farm setting was great but bearing in mind, prices were close to city restaurant prices.

Spectacular!
We’ve had the free company on our must eat list for 2 years and we were worried that we had overhyped it in our heads. All of our expectations were exceeded.
Everything is sourced locally where possible, including the tea cups which were made from clay on the land! Such a special touch.
We visited for Sunday lunch and had 3 small plates, the beef dinner and dessert. Everything is so flavourful! The beef was tender, the roasties were buttery and crispy and the veg was stunning.
My husband had the cacao husk desert which was delicious! Nothing took my fancy on the dessert menu so I ordered the smoked sourdough and honey butter which was beautiful!

VERY fresh ingredients! The terrine was phenomenally refreshing, and the Dexter beef was clearly farm to table. Some of the best mashed potatoes (with beef fat) in my life. Artichoke pudding was fun - gives a sense of crunchiness!Plus a lovely service and a really nice atmosphere in a barn-like dining hall. The farm is a little remote from the city, but I’d come here again when time allows!

What an amazing experience!! From start to finish, the location is gorgeous, the service is great and the food is nothing short of amazing. The best meal i had on my trip to Scotland. Everything was so well put together and thought of. The quality was outstanding.
