Verdict: Try it out!
Pretty decent experience!
The vibe of the place definitely isn’t similar to any of what we have in the neighborhood. A little bit on the corporation-owned feel.
The service was great and the food was good. No standout, mind-boggling dishes from what we’ve tried but everything was of good quality. We’ll definitely be back to try the burger and one of their steaks.
Overall a good addition to the neighborhood dining scene.
New joint that just opened in Northern Liberties and located within the Piazza. As always, parking might be tough to find in this area, but there is Valet service. Reservations are available via Resy. The ambiance is very trendy inside, whereas the outside is definitely brighter. The menu wasn't overwhelming, and prices were a bit higher than typical so expect to pay a bit more, which is expected as they market the restaurant is owned by Chef Laurent Tourondel. We ended up ordering several appetizers, including the rolls, calamari, and octopus. No lie, these were amazing! The octopus was one of the best I've ever had, and it would've been better if it was warmer when it got to our table. I had the spicy Asian salad with tuna and it was also amazing. The service was the main reason I did not rate this restaurant a 5. We sat outside and it wasn't that full, but yet our server(s) were hard to find at times. In addition, when we ordered drinks, it took a very long long time to arrive. It happened during the first round and the server apologized and said there was a large order ahead of us. And then it happened again on our 2nd round, and this time it was even longer and we had to catch the manager's attention. Not entirely sure what was going on. However, I would come back again because the food and vibes were pretty good.

Chef Laurent Tourondel demonstrates his earlier Michelin-star award continues to be justified at Terra, a new, wood-fired grill located in a modern and comfortable space in a bustling corner of NoLibs. The menu features steaks cooked to perfection (my filet Mignon was a perfect medium rare), fish dishes like grilled Branzino and Salmon, and tuna crudo, and appetizers and sides that burst with flavor. The menu is decidedly American, though French influences are notable. The service team, led by the ever-present GM, Milen, aim to please. Not to be overlooked are the salads, including a mouth watering watermelon heirloom tomato salad. The desserts were wonderful. The carmel popcorn sundae disappeared in no time, and a flakey French pastry with delicious cream filling had to be the product of a skilled pastry chef on premises. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with tile work and sconces and a beautiful bar and wall wine presentation . My family I truly enjoyed our dining experience and no doubt will return.
