Had a wonderful Valentine’s dinner date here with my husband, and it was our first time visiting Siena. We had no idea this little taste of Italy was tucked away in the hills of Austin — truly a hidden gem.
The atmosphere and architecture made us feel like we were in the Italian countryside. We enjoyed every dish, and you could taste the freshness in everything, especially the homemade pasta made in house.
The service was impeccable, and being tucked away by the fireplace made the night feel extra special. We had such a wonderful evening. Highly recommend — we will definitely be back!

I'd asked for a good Italian food restaurant for in our area and two neighborhood sites recommended Siena and boy they weren't wrong. DELICIOUS food! They offer a special on Monday nights, that I took advantage of - Soup of the Day or a salad, One pasta entree and I added their grilled asparagus for a Very reasonable price - DELICIOUS! My husband had the Walnut crusted Trout And that came with spinach. The trout was cooked perfectly. The walnut crust was light and complemented the trout perfectly. A very light buttery sauce was drizzled on top and That was delicious! The service was superb, Great wine list - tho I don't drink. Wonderful atmosphere for celebrating special dates. Great recommendation and Very glad we went. Nice little Happy Birthday cake slice with a candle in it to top off our perfect evening. Jan (pronounced Yawn) was a Great waiter and took great care of us. I highly recommend Siena Restaurant for a fantastic Italian dinner experience.
Wanted to love it for my birthday. Made reservations at 8pm for my family of 5 (2 adults & 3 kids) We arrived at 730. I advised the hostess we were there but understood we had to wait since our reservation was until 8. The moment he saw my children his expression changed he did a dirty look to my kids I guess because their clothes weren’t fancy but that doesn’t matter they are children dressed as children clean with brand clothes. So he mentioned our table was ready if we wanted we can go in and sit. I told him perfect and that we’d stand to the side to avoid being in the way of people coming in. So 20 minutes went by people came and went he saw us there waiting when I finally told him if we’d be seated or should we wait until 8 he instead blamed me that I left and he didn’t see me. When my whole family and me were off to the side were he can clearly see us. It’s cool he sat us and after that the waiter was super nice super helpful I couldn’t tell you how great he was. The bread was stale and the olive oil to dip the bread was plain. The food took a while to arrive but arrived at the same time and was pretty good. Paid around $220+ tip. Overall would I go back. No. I don’t play about my children feeling looked at because they aren’t in a suit and tie.
