got the deals that they had. both for £9 and comes w chai as well. the food was beyond amazing. so authentic and the spice has not been toned down at all, so if you are looking for spicy authentic Indian food this is the place. the chai was also v good. was a v good experience all in all. only thing is that for the portion sizes I think the prices are a bit much. but would definitely recommend and will be going again.

This is a hidden gem in the Holborn area of London. As someone from Delhi who was craving authentic Indian food, I'm so glad I discovered this place.
What I loved:
1. The ambience
The interiors make you feel as though you're sitting in a traditional Indian village home. The mud-textured walls, beautiful Warli art, and thoughtfully curated décor create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
2. Presentation
The food presentation is excellent. The pani puri shots and samosas are served in a unique and creative way that adds to the overall dining experience.
3. The food
The owner, Ms. Roshni, and her mother are also the chefs, and it truly shows. Everything tastes homemade and prepared with care. The food isn't oily, and both the sabzi and naan were outstanding.
4. Masala chaas
This deserves a special mention. It's one of the best chaas I've had in London—perfectly seasoned, with just the right consistency. It wasn't overly creamy or heavy, making it incredibly refreshing on a hot, humid London day.
5. Masala chai
A very good cup of chai and a great way to round off the meal.
What could be improved:
The staircase leading to the toilet is quite steep, and the first few steps don't have handrails. It felt a little unsafe and could be challenging for some guests.
Overall, don't miss this hidden gem. The food is delicious, comforting, and flavourful without being overly spicy. I would happily visit again.
