Because the fries are so greasy, the bag arrived half torn, which was not ideal. I was staying in a hotel at the time, so it was awkward having to carry a grease-stained, damaged bag through the elevators and foyer. It is a small detail, but it does affect the overall experience when you are not eating at home.
I would hope they find a way to prevent that in future, perhaps with sturdier packaging or better bag protection for delivery orders. Still, the food itself was very good, and if you are after a proper burger and fries fix, Five Guys remains a solid choice.

Walked in, ordered on the self service machines. Order was freshly prepared and ready within 5 minutes; love the fact you can watch them make it! Burger was £13 but was delicious and staff were very friendly. However, the highlight of the show was the milkshake I had! After I had walked 11 miles, the milkshake hit the spot. Did cost me £8 though! It was stunning! Definitely recommended. However, bear in mind the London prices if your not from London!
Basically a fast food chain with very high prices. £6.15 for fries, £6.55 for a milkshake. They are larger portions than McDonald's but not sure it was good value.
Poor experience of enrolling to their loyalty scheme for free fries and ending up having to pay for them when the till glitched.
I’d heard about the legendary Five Guys burgers for years, but today was my first time actually trying one.
They do things quite differently from your typical fast-food chain, which makes the whole experience feel a bit novel. The burger itself was fantastic, juicy, flavorful, and absolutely worth the hype. The only downside? I needed a steady supply of napkins to avoid looking like a toddler who just discovered food independence.
I couldn’t resist trying a milkshake too, and to my surprise, the level of customization was on a completely different level. I’m not usually a big milkshake person, but this one was spectacular.
And then there were the peanuts. Such a simple touch, but it kept us happily occupied while the food was being prepared, which, by the way, arrived in record time.
What also stood out was how tidy and well-organized everything was. The condiment stations were fully stocked, cups neatly stacked, lids and straws in place. Everything felt clean, structured, and well maintained. A noticeable difference compared to many other burger chains.
Safe to say, I get the hype now.
