The Surf Club Restaurant was one of the most impressive dining experiences we’ve had in a while. From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely elite—attentive, polished, and executed at a level that is rare to find. The entire evening felt special, and it’s easy to see why this restaurant has earned its Michelin star.
We visited as a party of six and ordered a wide variety of dishes to share, allowing us to experience much of the menu. Every single item was exceptional. The bacon appetizer was outstanding, and the beef Wellington was quite simply the best I’ve ever had. The true ribeye was also a standout and unlike any steak I’ve had before, making it difficult to choose a favorite between the two.
The atmosphere was elegant and lively, and it certainly didn’t hurt spotting a few celebrities throughout the evening. Between the phenomenal food, world-class service, and unforgettable atmosphere, this was an incredible experience from start to finish. We can’t wait to return.
I visited for Valentine’s Day and am just getting around to writing my review. We enjoyed the preset Valentine’s Day dinner, and the entire evening felt incredibly romantic and refined.
The restaurant has a beautiful old-world elegance with that effortless old-money, understated luxury feel. It’s upscale without being overly flashy—the kind of place where dressing beautifully feels completely appropriate. Definitely not a casual dining spot; this is somewhere you come dressed to impress.
The service was exceptional. There was an impressive number of waiters and waitresses, and everything was handled seamlessly and efficiently. Despite the restaurant being busy, the service was remarkably fast and attentive.
The food was beautifully presented, with each course feeling creative and thoughtfully designed. Everything we tried was delicious, and the presentation added to the overall experience.
The location by the beach makes it even more special. During the day, the views are gorgeous, while in the evening the atmosphere becomes much more intimate and romantic.
Overall, this is the type of restaurant that feels timeless, elegant, and quietly luxurious. A beautiful choice for a special occasion, romantic dinner, or anyone who appreciates that classic old-money atmosphere.

I’m not quite sure how you don’t give this place 5 stars. We had an incredible meal, and the service was 6 stars. They were so friendly. All the servers said “nice to meet you” instead of “thank you for coming” which was very striking.
We got the table side Caesar and unfortunately I feel like I got an abnormally small portion after looking at social media. But the flavor was incredible. Followed that up with the salmon, and it was the most flavorful dish I’ve had in a while. The wife got the truffle Alfredo which I now want every day, forever.
After much deliberation we ended up going with the coconut chiffon cake with key lime crème anglaise for dessert. We asked about 4 employees if they would do that or the chocolate cake and ended up with the coconut even though most said chocolate cake. It was awesome, would get another for breakfast.
Ultimately it was an awesome experience for my first TK restaurant, and I’m super happy I went.

It's AMAZING! It's classic New America Cusine. Not trying to be super over the top creative, it's trying to execute those steak house attributes well and it nailed it.
Quality of ingredient high, service standards high, atmosphere regal beach energy and the food just well done on every bite.
Top favorites were there potato chips (I know), lobster Thermidor, mashed potatoes and the BACON. Oh Mann lemme emphasize the BACON. Don't miss it.
I felt like the price was fair for the quality, service and energy. Would return.

A once-in-a-lifetime dining experience at a true Michelin gem
The Surf Club Restaurant exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked through those stunning arched corridors, we knew this evening was going to be something special.
The food was absolutely flawless. We started with the Hand Cut Steak Tartare — beautifully presented in a crystal dish with delicate herbs and a quail egg — and the Hass Avocado & Vegetable Louie. The Lasagne arrived bubbling and golden in its own little pan, pure comfort elevated to an art form. The True Ribeye Steak ($125 and worth every penny) was the star of the night — perfectly seared, served simply on pristine china. And the Mousse au Chocolat to finish? Divine.
Our server Younes was exceptional — attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. The atmosphere transported us straight to 1950s glamour, without feeling stuffy for even a moment.
The highlight? The manager graciously invited us behind the scenes for a peek at the kitchen — an immaculate, buzzing operation that perfectly reflects Thomas Keller's legendary standards. Seeing that level of precision and passion firsthand made the meal mean even more.
If you're going to splurge anywhere in Miami, make it here. Absolutely unforgettable. 🌟
