I recently drove down from Massachusetts to attend a concert on the outdoor patio area of this establishment. Having never been there, my excitement for the event peaked upon driving up to the place- beautiful architectural New England charm with a water fountain and a vibe that suggests there's GOT to be an ocean view within sight somewhere! (There isn't, but it still feels like it!)
With no idea what to expect, I was pleased to find the gravel parking lot behind the restaurant was free, the lot staff welcomed me warmly upon arrival.
The owner is a friendly and outgoing guy with an enthusiasm for life that is palpable, he was just as excited for the show as I was! Seeing him actively engaging with patrons and the way he treated everyone he interacted with like an old friend he already knew gave a warm and inviting vibe to the overall experience.
It was quickly and clearly evident that this place is so special and a valued event venue within the community around it. I began to truly wish I lived closer than a 2.5hr drive, I'll be keeping an eye on future concerts opportunities to drive down and attend. It was a busy Saturday with lots going on, not only the concert but also a baby shower and a wedding reception in addition to the casual diners, all being seamlessly accommodated in a flow that shows this place knows exactly what it's doing.
This particular occasion drew me down because of the members of Twiddle who would be performing, I hadn't heard of Tim Palmeiri before but the show was a total banger and I hope to be able to see them play again in the future.
I had the opportunity to try the fish and chips and it was fantastic.
We stopped by for Sunday lunch. The restaurant is roomy but always busy. It has private parking for customers, and sometimes live music. The service is fast, friendly, and welcoming.
Our parents really love the atmosphere of this place, and always make sure to visit at least once when they come to see us. The food was good, and the servings were large. I really enjoyed the “Mango Salmon”. I also used to love the “Seafood Paella”, and was sad to see it was no longer on the menu. Overall, it’s a great place to eat.

Food quality / price (value) rating 10. The atmosphere is seaside resort. The menu is varied with several contemporary and unusual spins on standard offerings. This restaurant, now being operated by the third generation of dedicated restauranteurs, has continued serving high quality fare at reasonable prices. I had the Blackened Swordfish with Gorgonzola and woodland mushrooms, roasted red peppers, spinach, and whipped potatoes. The swordfish portion was generous, prepared properly, and everything was served hot! The wife had the Swordfish Puttonesca Risotto which had a wonderfully balanced tomato, basil, black olives, garlic and capers sauce. Chef Chris did not let us down, and his wife Sarah brought the kind of service we all respect and love while eating out. The third generation owner, and third generation Tom, was kind enough to spend time telling us the story of his family's restarantuer history. We finished our experience with a wonderful dessert of Lemoncello cake with vanilla ice cream and a Keoke coffee. Huge dessert plenty big enough for two! They offer varied live entertainment a couple nights a week. Everything was great here, and I can't wait to come back!

We went out for my girlfriend's birthday and she had been wanting to go here for a while. Reservations are not a necessity but highly recommended.Especially on a friday.
It was both me her twelve year old and my brother , celebrating her 35th. Well, they have a wonderful wine selection.As well as beers and cocktails, none of us at the table were drinkers.So we did not order drinks , but we did order appetizers. Define, calculand and Not a traditional marinara sauce. We also ordered the burrata, which was very fresh with wonderful mozzarella crunchy , christina brad , as well as a balsamic.
We all order different dinners. The\nYoung child ordered the adult version of Shrimp Scampi. He truly enjoyed it the jumbo shrimp. The birthday girl ordered the seafood lobster risotto wish she loved except for the amount of tomatoes that she did not expect. Move.\nMe and my brother ordered different specials.He ordered the 16 oz prime red.And while I'm not a fan of him, ordering it medium.Well , he ate the whole thing , which speaks volumes of how good it was. I ordered the special swordfish dinner.I wish I enjoyed immensely. It was served with mashed potato asparagus , tips as well as a Bernaise sauce. For dessert, we ordered creme brulee and sherbet.
Our waitress was very busy with many tables , but she was attentive and made sure that we were taken care of. Overall , I experience with the five out of five , and I would recommend an although the bill was pretty pricey , it was worth every penny.

This was an amazing experience! Starting off the host was kind and our server was very nice and patient when we weren't able to decide on what to get. We said we were in a bit of a rush, and maybe it was because we said that because they came out with the food around 5 min later- the drinks, appetizers, entrees, and more. The server was very kind and checked around to see how we were doing and other servers did that too for us. The atmosphere was chill and it wasn't loud in there. The food was presented well and it was great. We got the lobster roll, fried Brussel sprouts, bacon and scallop, and the clam chowder.
