Had the pleasure of a soft opening invite at Chef Adam Byatt’s new restaurant the other night. We were regulars at the old Brinkleys, so really appreciated what he’s done with the refurbishment—it’s beautiful.
Then there’s the food. Simply outstanding. Adam sent dishes out for us to try, so we got a proper sense of the menu. Standouts were the rabbit livers (a must), sardines, the risotto (OMG) and the veal sirloin and kidneys. There was also a perfect “post service pasta”—exactly the kind of dish that gives you a reason to have drunk the night before (the perfect hangover food). I ‘cleaned’ the plate with the house bread to the point where it could have gone back into the cupboard.
A proper success. Beautiful menu, clearly thought through. A real neighbourhood restaurant. The food is also priced to make this more of a ‘frequent flyer’ than an occasional/event restaurant which is lucky because there’s sooooo much choice!!
The team also deserve a huge shout out, made the whole experience feel more like we were dining at Adam’s home than at his restaurant. Absolutely first class.
Nduja strozzapreti ‘the Calabrian spicy salume meets the 'priest strangler'. Amen’ - I have absolutely no idea what you are but I’m coming for you!!
Incredible meal. Faultless service. Just sad I couldn’t try the whole menu. Very average pricing for a London dinner. Interesting largely Italian wine list starting around £35 . Delicious cocktails (basil gimlet! Beautifully perfumed negroni). Tiramisu was top notch and the option of refills is a nice touch (though be aware: they are not free). Top bites: sardines stuffed with salsa verde, tortellini in broth. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest.

Adam Byatt has done it again.
Although we live in Devon, we visited here for the 1st time, exactly a year to the day that we 1st ate at his (then new) "Brasserie Constance" in Fulham.
We've followed the journey to both of these restaurants on Adam's website & so were very keen to secure a booking.
On arrival, you are served olives, olive oil, breads & grissini. The latter reminded of of those we'd had in Modena at "Osteria Francescana." Sadly, there was just 1 each of them as they were very moreish.
We began with Fried Talleggio & Rabbit Livers, braised in Chianti.
Next (beautifully sweet & juicy) Honeymoon Melon with Prosciutto & a Sardine Salsa Verde.
Our mains were Post Service Pasta 16 with Bottarga & the elegant, v yummy Risotto Bianco.
We shared a side of Peas, Fava Beans & Fried Mortadella.
Puddings were Amalfi Lemon Granita & Pina's Tiramisu, which is served at your table. You can judge what size portion you'd like.
We also had a glass of sweet Asti.
The food was all gorgeous & very memorable.
The staff were all very friendly, especially Jason at the bar & Luca, the GM. Before getting the bill we were given complimentary Limoncello shots.
All in all, we can't wait till our next London trip cos we'll be back.
(Ps confusingly, if you need to telephone the restaurant, it displays as "Brinkleys" but I'm sure that will be corrected soon.)

Just enjoyed a delightful Sunday lunch at Rosina. Friendly and faultless service from Faye. A beautiful dining room which is light and and airy. Every item on the menu looked delicious. Husband declared the Negroni the best he had ever had.West End quality food without making the trek to the WE. Our new favorite destination! Victoria and Gary
