We had a perfect family lunch today at The Meat & Wine Co. – Circular Quay (2 O’Connell Street).
Everything was outstanding. The lamb and steak were absolutely delicious—cooked to perfection and full of flavour. We also loved the restaurant’s beautiful African-inspired safari atmosphere, which is exactly the kind of style our family enjoys.
A very special thank you to Cheeny, who made our experience truly memorable. She looked after us like family from beginning to end. When our meals were taking a little longer, she came over to check if we were getting hungry and kindly followed up with the kitchen to make sure our food arrived as soon as possible. Once the meals were served, she checked in again to make sure everything was to our liking.
She also surprised us with complimentary ice cream and even helped us take family photos.
Great food, wonderful hospitality, and service with heart. We absolutely loved our experience and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!
Stopped by The Meat & Wine Co on O’Connell Street for their express lunch and had a great experience. The express lunch was excellent value for money, with generous serving sizes that were really satisfying. The restaurant itself also has a beautiful interior, making it a nice place to enjoy a meal.
A special shoutout to Cheeny, who was very attentive and accommodating throughout our visit. Great food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely recommend this branch if you’re looking for a good meal in the city!

We celebrated our Cousins graduation here and the food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was the perfect balance of elegant and cozy. What really made our experience stand out, though, was the exceptional service from Jennie. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome throughout the evening.
We had a large table with several different orders, so I expected a bit of a wait. To my surprise, all of our meals arrived promptly, and everything was fresh, hot, and beautifully prepared.
Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant. We’ll certainly be back!
Celebrated my birthday here and had such a great experience! The Safari Bread was sooo good, and every dish we ordered was amazing. The rib-eye steak was definitely the highlight!! it was perfectly cooked, super juicy, and full of flavor.
