We brought our grandson and great nephew to Boston to learn its history. What a great city! I chose Legal Sea Foods because I have celiac and must be very intentional when dining out. Legal Sea Food was very cognizant about avoiding cross contamination and the proper way to prepare my dinner. I had salmon and sautéed spinach and it was delicious!!! The boys had lobster and really enjoyed that experience. Bib and all😋. Our server was attentive and seemed to be doing a great job training a new hire. We loved our meal and dining experience. I highly recommend Legal Sea Foods.
A solid and enjoyable dinner experience. Nothing overly fancy or groundbreaking, but everything was well prepared and satisfying. The seafood platter was the highlight, offering a great selection of fried seafood cooked with care. Service was friendly and attentive, while the atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming. This is the kind of reliable restaurant you can happily return to more than once, knowing you'll receive good food and a pleasant dining experience

Excited to have this local chain right across the hotel. Fam of 4 came in soaking wet after getting caught in a bad rainstorm, but they were great & seated us right away (with extra towels to dry off).
Their kids meal is one of the hugest portions I've seen, a total steal at $10, and so wholesome too (big servings of fruit, veggie, sides & delicious entrees). Popcorn shrimp was a hit as we all stole pieces of my kids dinner.
We also shared a cup of their yummy clam chowder, paired well with the complimentary butter & bread. I LOVED my melt-in-yo-mouf warm lobster roll and enjoyed the crunchiness of their coleslaw. They also let me swap fries with a side salad, but that itself was big enough for itself. Very crispy lettuce, but was not a fan of their store Cesar dressing.
Bonus points for giving top notch Crayola branded crayons for the kids coloring.

Quite possibly the worst Legal Sea Food experience I've ever had and by far the worst food we had all vacation week in Boston!
We set dinner reservations for our sons 10th birthday meal and it was downhill from there. Even after including that and letting the server know they never did ANYTHING for his birthday! Horrible horrible service!
But I digress, reservations - table wasn't ready for 20 minutes. Then sat for 15 before the waitress asked if we wanted water. Duh! Then placed our entire order of which our drinks came after food. Sis I mention the restaurant was half full!?
Kids menu was priced right, but the food wasn't good. Butter noodles for one was cold, red sauce pasta for another had bits of tomatoes, but not sauce! The fish fingers were the best, but basically over fried.
Adult meals $24 for the smallest crab cake ever served with a salad that was awful! Lobster bisque was lacking lobster, just bisque and had more grease on top than soup. 🤢
To add insult to injury as we left, we used the bathroom....nothing to dry your hands. And waited to talk to staff, who was too busy taking a break or folding silverware.
Something is clearly gone awry at Legal Sea Food! Avoid this restaurant at all costs!

Food was tasty but super salty. It’s a pretty restaurant but at 2pm the tables around us had not been cleared.
