The best pizza in Sicily so far! 🍕❤️
I'm a vegetarian and I usually dislike eggplant, yet this is still the best pizza I've had in Sicily—and possibly the best pizza I've ever had. The dough was exceptional, the toppings were fresh and creamy, and the combination of flavours was absolutely incredible.
Highly recommended! ❤️👌
I honestly didn’t expect to find pizza of this quality right in the middle of busy Taormina. The dough was light, perfectly fermented and baked, with excellent ingredients and authentic Neapolitan flavour. Prices are very fair, especially considering the location, making it outstanding value for money. Friendly service, quick turnaround, and a great spot for a proper pizza without the usual tourist trap feeling. Highly recommended if you’re looking for genuine Neapolitan pizza in Taormina.

After hiking up to Taormina Castle and the beautiful church, it was an absolute treat to come across La Napoletana.
The pizzas were exceptional light, airy, and perfectly cooked with a beautifully blistered crust. The quality of the ingredients really stood out, and despite being generously topped, the pizzas never felt heavy.
The relaxed atmosphere and friendly service made it the perfect place to sit down, recharge, and enjoy an authentic Neapolitan pizza after a long walk.
If you're exploring Taormina and need a well-earned meal, this is the place to stop. Outstanding pizza, welcoming staff, and a memorable experience. Highly recommended! 🍕⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was pretty disappointed with our experience here. While the pizza itself was tasty, the service left a lot to be desired, especially when you are charged for it.
We actually stopped by earlier in the day to make a reservation because we had been advised that this was the best way to get a table. We were told a reservation wasn’t necessary and to simply come back later. So that’s exactly what we did.
When we returned, there was no one at the entrance to greet guests. We flagged down a waiter, who told us to wait at the podium and that someone would be with us shortly. After waiting with no one appearing, we asked another server, who scribbled our name on a random piece of paper from his pocket and told us to wait by the steps.
We watched several groups who arrived after us get seated before we finally had to ask yet another member of staff what was happening. We were then seated quickly, but unfortunately at a table right beside the kitchen. Between the heat coming from the kitchen and the already hot Italian weather, we spent the entire meal sweating through our clothes.
Our server wasn’t particularly attentive. He simply came over, took our order, and left. To be fair, the pizzas arrived quickly, and they kindly split our Diavola pizza for us, which was a nice touch.
The biggest frustration came at the end of the meal. We had to flag down three different servers to ask for the bill, but none of them ever came back. After waiting quite a while, we eventually went inside to pay ourselves, only to be told off for not asking our server—which, of course, we had already done multiple times.
To make matters worse, there’s a €2.50 per person service charge. Based on the level of service we received, I don’t feel it was justified.
As for the food, the pizza was good. It had a nice flavour, there was a great selection on the menu, and the Diavola we ordered was enjoyable. However, it wasn’t anything particularly memorable compared to other pizzerias in the area.
Overall, if you’re on holiday and have plenty of great pizza options nearby, I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here. Good pizza can only make up for so much when the overall experience is this frustrating.

Great experience overall. The menu has many pizza choices to select from and also the pizza was served 10’ after our order which was great! The prices are decent 12-16€ per pizza and the atmosphere is really nice.
I would recommend it if you’re looking for a romantic chill spot.
