La Bourse et La Vie is a traditional 'Bistrot du Quartier' offering classic French cuisine in an intimate and upscale setting. It is conveniently located in Paris' 2e arrondissement, between the Palais Royal and the Bourse de Paris.
Customers highly praise La Bourse et La Vie for its exceptional steak frites, often described as one of the best in Paris. The intimate ambiance and friendly, hospitable staff are frequently highlighted. While many find the food enjoyable and reasonably priced for the quality, some reviewers consider it a bit overpriced, and a few have found the dishes 'nice but not wow.' There was an isolated comment about a waiter lacking patience.
The restaurant requires a deposit when making a reservation.
The restaurant is open for lunch (12:00 pm - 2:00 pm) and dinner (7:00 pm - 10:00 pm) from Monday to Friday. It is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Given its intimate space and popularity, making a reservation in advance is highly recommended.
