This place was a cute stop-by and has a convenient location. The food was good, nothing insanely special. Waited a long time for our food and 25 mins post meal singular tiramisu (We were the only people on the patio atp). A little bit odd that the “grilled chicken breast” for the caesar salad was a chicken LEG, but it still tasted good, no complaints there. The steak sandwich had a little too many flavours going on but tasty. We also asked for a medium well steak for a main course and received medium rare, twice. It was also a tiny tiny steak compared to what they said it would be in size. But our server was lovely. No genuine complaints, but not what I was expecting! Definitely check it out for the patio though.
Cocktails were spectacular. The focaccia was insanely delicious and could feed 4 people. The Service from Olivia G was top notch. They make an amazing house Caesar Salad, arancini is amazing as well. We got the chicken Milanese and Spaghetti and Meatballs to share. Portions were plenty! Not a single regret.
I held my baby shower here and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From the staff to the food, everything was 10/10. We had planned for outdoor seating but it started raining - within 20 min, staff had completely transformed their private area to the perfect table. All of my guests spoke to how well they were taken care of by service. Appetizers were delicious - focaccia was so fresh, burrata was creamy, beets were beeting - and the main pastas were filling and fabulous. Thank you again to Jupiter for making my special day all the more special.
My sister & I recently visited our hometown NYC and met some old friends at Jupiter for lunch. We had a wonderful experience. It’s a beautiful restaurant adjacent to the Rockefeller Center skating rink with views of the rink while you're dining. It certainly put us in the Christmas spirit. The food was wonderful but the portions are small for the price but it was delicious. My sister & I were wanted to eat light so we shared the arancini (rice balls) which were outstanding and the pspardelle pasta with slow cooked beef ragu. Delicious! Pancetta dessert was fabulous! Staff was great. It was an overall fun & enjoyable experience.
An unlikely location for such a tasty meal. Jupiter is swanky without being pretentious and does a phenomenal job marrying classic Italian dishes with a few more elevated twists scattered throughout the menu. Aside from a great meal, their manager, Pat, is a class act. After learning that the restaurant no longer offered matchbooks, Pat went above and beyond to make sure I got one mailed to my home once they came back into production. A handwritten card is not something you see in your mailbox every day, let alone from a restaurant you dined at 3 months prior. To feel like a priority even after the bill has been paid is a wonderful feeling. More people should be talking about Jupiter and I hope to dine there again soon.
