My daughter took me to dinner at Jeff Ruby's. The experience was seamless. The quality of food was flawless. The waiter and waitress were very attentive. They made us feel valued even though we were underdressed. The waiter was very knowledgable able the food and drinks and asked about dietary restrictions. The music, the seating comfort, and decor truly enhanced our meal. Thank you for the hospitality!

My husband and I dined here this evening for our 15th wedding anniversary. We had visited the Columbus Ohio location previously and was hoping the Louisville restaurant would be the same experience. The visit this evening EXCEEDED our previous experience, which I must have was excellent in itself. Matthew was our waiter and he was phenomenal. I honestly do not know the last time I have had such a great restaurant experience. When Matthew found out we were celebrating an anniversary he suprised us with glasses of wine, posed us and took a picture with an actual camera, not cell phone, and when he brought our check he also brought a little anniversary card that had our photo he took in it. I was absolutely blown away. The food was exceptional, everything was perfect. Highly recommend the Millionaire Bacon as an app, it was mind blowing. The restaurant is so beautiful and all the staff so welcoming, friendly, engaging and professional. Even the valet experience was great. We could not have chose a more perfect place for our anniversary dinner, I can not wait to return and I sincerely hope we are fortunate enough to have Matthew take care of us again. He is top notch!

I was in on Sunday celebrating my birthday with family. This was my first time dining at J. RUBY'S. What an special experience, I highly recommend the Waygu Flights. This gives you a sampling of choices for the main course. The Service was impeccable, the wait staff were very attentive to every detail. And let's not forget the deserts, I couldn't choose so we had several and shared so we could sample everything. I look forward to my next visit. Thank you for an a memorable Birthday.

Service and atmosphere were absolutely outstanding—I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The Lobster Baked Mac and Cheese was spectacular, and the Ahi Tuna was equally impressive. The chocolate cake was incredible and easily large enough to feed a family of four. The only disappointment was the Cowboy Steak. The seasoning was spot on, and it was cooked to a perfect medium-rare. Unfortunately, I believe I just received an unlucky cut of meat. It was much tougher than expected, and felt like 20% of it was gristle that required a lot of chewing instead of the fat rendering and melting as it should. That said, I genuinely believe this was an exception rather than the norm. Based on the quality of everything else and the exceptional service, I'd bet 99 out of 100 steaks are fantastic. Tonight just happened to be the one time it missed the mark for me. I wouldn't hesitate to come back and give it another try and I'll update my review then.

Unbelievable appetizers—get the Freddie! The Bluefin Tuna and Shrimp Tempura were also great. Truffle fries and the bread were stellar. Cowboy steak was solid and the Wagyu was cooked rare-plus vs medium rare, though my Petite Filet was not prepared to the requested temperature. Creamed spinach was unfortunately over-salted. Still, the vibe (live music in one room but we sat in the quieter room which was nice), service, and Oreo ice cream dessert were amazing. Would return!
