Food is absolutely delicious!!! Very small dining area but that is okay!! There vanilla cold brew was also great, and the large size is huge!!!! Braised beef grit bowl was definitely 10/10, VERY well seasoned!! Everything was just so good couldnt go wrong with anything here! Cant wait to come back!!
My first time at FnS all the way from Cincinnati, Ohio and it was quite enjoyable. Of course I had to stop by because of KL, and the line was out the door. And it did not disappoint. The customer service is outstanding. I definitely appreciate the cashier adjusting the portion sizes for me because I have gastric sleeve and full portion sizes would just get wasted. I ordered the Braised Beef & grits, and loaded grits, and an Arnold Palmer to go. The Braised Beef didnt make it out the parking lot. So savory. So flavorful. The combination of flavors marry Cajun Soul food together divinely. I also love how you get Cajun Soul w/out the over saturation of flaming hot spices. I get so tired of resturants in BTR over compensating on flaming hot spices, and lacking on flavor then calling it Cajun. Stop it! Anyway, 10/10 highly recommended 👌
Such an awesome place! Everything was incredible….freshly squeezed orange juice, the maple bacon strawberry toast comes in two sizes- which is great because you can try more things! This toast has a sweet cream and light syrup that is to die for! Whoa! We also got an iced coffee that was yummy. The brisket grits were AMAZING and the bagel with onions peppers sausage and bacon was very tasty…. Next time I will ask if I can get over grits since it was a lil challenging to eat it on a bagel…. Even with a fork! I almost hate to review this place because I like that it isn’t well known but I do have to give credit! Amazing cooks and friendly personable servers made a wonderful experience. The only negative lol, is that I am an hour and a half away…. Please please consider opening another closer to Slidell! I will always make it a point to eat there when I am visiting the college kiddos! Posting this makes me crave it!
This place has great food and service. The staff does a wonderful job, cooking (best scrambled eggs!!!!) and service. The dining area is small, but the tables come available with minimal wait at times. The food comes out of the kitchen quickly.
Incredible food. Seriously some of the best breakfast food I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I ordered the loaded hash browns, and they were delicious. Very nice portion size too. Self-serve coffee was awesome too. Great service and super quick. 5/5 stars
