such an awesome spot!!! i had just a great time here. we ordered the orange-ish chicken, bulgogi stir fry, and cucumber salad as a group of 3 and all the items were amazing. the chicken was definitely the standout dish, with the crispy exterior and zesty, savory sauce, it was addicting. the bathroom wall mural was also very endearing. if you’re ever in dupont circle, don’t miss out.
We had an amazing experience at Chiko, and a huge part of that was thanks to Jan (Jon). From the moment we walked in, he was incredibly welcoming and provided outstanding hospitality.
Jan was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and gave us fantastic recommendations. He even let us sample the house-made lime cooler and house-made lemonade before we ordered, which was such a thoughtful touch and made it easy to choose. Both drinks were refreshing and delicious!
We ordered the pork and kimchi potstickers, the cumin lamb stir-fry, and the spicy bulgogi stir-fry, and every dish was packed with flavor. You could tell Jan really knew the menu because his recommendations did not disappoint.
His friendly personality, attention to detail, and genuine care for customers made our entire experience even better. Employees like Jan are hard to find these day, he truly deserves a raise!
We’ll definitely be back and will be recommending Chiko to our friends and family. Thank you, Jan, for making our visit such a memorable one!

This hole in the wall restaurant is DELICIOUS. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere not so much but listen the food makes for the lack of ambiance. I a licking my lips thinking about it. I had the lamb noodles.. soooo yummy. My friend had the orange chicken even better. I will be going back when I am in the area.

WONDERFULLY SURPRISED!! Stumbled upon this place while I was in the area and saw their amazing happy hour deal! Was so impressed with the quality of the food! Service was super easy and while the space is small, it was very comfortable! I will 100% be back!! I LOVED everything I ate😋😋😋😋

dumplings were so good. the veg dumpling is gas. happy hour dumplings are super well priced. the green beans were mid - not cooked through, could not finish. staff was nice. a bit dirty.
