Ambassadors Clubhouse is a swanky British import located in New York's NoMad district, specifically at 1245 Broadway. It celebrates the shared culinary heritage of Northern India, delivering classic Punjabi hospitality in a beautifully decorated, premium ambiance. The restaurant offers dinner nightly and lunch on weekends, and is known for its thoughtful interior and exterior design.
Customer Perception
Customer feedback highlights the restaurant's gorgeous interior and exterior, often described as thoughtfully and intentionally decorated. Service is generally praised as attentive, warm, and professional, contributing to an elevated dining experience. Appetizers like Chili Cheese Pakode, Raj Kachori Chaat, and Wagyu Keema Naan are frequently lauded as standouts, along with the Mango Lassi, Black Dal, and Daal Makhani. However, some customers found certain main courses to be less remarkable or 'mid,' and desserts were not considered show-stopping. The staff has been described as still getting accustomed to the space, and the extensive menu can be challenging to navigate without more guidance. Reservations are noted as being hard to secure, and the restaurant is considered to be on the pricier end.

Best Times to Visit
The restaurant serves dinner nightly and lunch on weekends. Given that reservations are described as 'very hard,' it is advisable to book well in advance, especially for peak dinner times and weekend lunches.
Gorg interior / exterior like truly it was so thoughtfully & intentionally decorated. Starting with drinks - I got the bhang southside and it was a bit sour but flavorful! Thums up manhattan was so strong and the mango lassi was the best lassi I’ve ever had - Tasted like melted kulfi. Spearmint tea was also good- beautiful pot
Food wise - apps were better than mains. The standout were the Chili Cheese Pakode, Wagyu Keema Naan, and Beetroot Raj Kachori Chaat. The chaat was layered and so flavorful in each bite. Mains were again, a bit mid and didn’t rlly stand out to me. Naans were good but nothing extraordinary. Dessert was nothing show stopping and honestly, you could skip it.
The staff is definitely very interesting and you can tell they’re very chaotic/ still getting used to the restaurant & space. The menu is also very long and will definitely take you minimum 20 minutes to align on what food to order And the staff don’t really help you/ walk through it with you which is surprising. I found out through other friends that you can customize how many pieces of chicken you can get in one order, which my party didn’t know so the 4 of us shared 3 chicken pieces. Not a big deal of course, but if we were to have known it would’ve been more thoughtful.
Def on the pricier end but for how gorg the interior is it’s quite worth it.
We had a wonderful lunch at Ambassador Club House in New York! From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and welcoming, and the food exceeded our expectations.
We started with the selection of papads, which were absolutely delicious and a great way to begin the meal. The chili cheese pakode were perfectly crispy and packed with flavor, while the Raj Kachori Chaat was fresh, vibrant, and incredibly tasty.
For drinks, the Masala Margarita and Tandoori Margarita were both unique, refreshing, and expertly crafted. The kids loved the Masala Thumbs Up, which was flavorful and a fun twist on a classic drink.
For the main course, the Dunghar Paneer Tikka was smoky, tender, and full of rich flavors. The Methi Malai Morel Mattar was creamy, aromatic, and one of the highlights of the meal.
Overall, it was an excellent dining experience with delicious food, great drinks, and outstanding service. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

Everything was incredible! From the service to the atmosphere and of course the food, we had a great experience. We started with the chili cheese pakode and beetroot raj kachori chaat. The pakode was delicious and the beetroot chaat was so flavorful and the perfect start.
For mains we had the original bbq butter chicken chops, lasooni salmon tikka, and matka beliram lamb curry. Everything was delicious but the salmon tikka really stood out to all of us. The salmon was seasoned so well and had a great tandoor flavor. The lamb curry was great as well with very tender pieces. I also had a mango lassi which I loved. It's more tart than sweet but I still liked it. Finally for dessert we had the gur malai toast which came with a delicious ice cream.
The decor and vibe inside is regal and gorgeous. We were treated very well, and checked on regularly. This is a spot I could easily come back to and try an entire list of different menu items!

Ambassadors Club House in NYC is nearly impossible to reserve unless you’re lightning-fast on Resy — but every frantic tap is worth it.
The interiors feel like a maharaja’s estate, with warm lighting, classic paintings, and comfortable seating. They also have the intimate Raja Rani Room for private dining of 12-15 guests.
The drinks set the tone perfectly — the Patiala Peg is a nostalgic nod to the British Raj era, while the Skinny Paan cocktail and a versatile spirits menu keep things exciting.
The food is where Ambassadors truly shines. The house-made papad basket with aam chutney, imli chutney and mooli raita was a rustic delight. The Raj Kachori was a full-on flavor bomb, and the Aloo Satpura was a work of art — layered, refined yet deeply soulful. For mains, the Dahi Bhindi Pakoda Kadhi with laccha paratha was nostalgic comfort food at its finest.
We finished with the Gur Malai Toast and Citrus Fruit Lassi Chaat — an inspired and modern ending to an ethereal experience!
Every dish oozed traditional, homemade flavors. Close your eyes and you’re transported straight to a dhaba. Ambassadors Club House is a 10/5 experience and an absolute must-visit.

I’ve been to Ambassador’s Clubhouse three times now, and every visit has been just as amazing as the first. The food, service, and atmosphere are consistently exceptional.
The butter chicken, spiced grilled salmon, and any of the kebab/skewers are standout dishes, and great choices at a more approachable price point. If you’re looking to splurge, the seafood tower, Lamb Raan and roasted chicken are spectacular and absolutely worth it.
And the desserts deserve a special mention—they’re genuinely some of the best I’ve had in New York, and just as impressive as the savory dishes.
I’ve included photos from all three visits because there have been too many great dishes to capture in just one meal.
Easily one of the best Indian restaurants in New York. Now I’m excited to try the London flagship and see how the original compares!
