My husband and I decided to have a day date at The Mexicano today, and it did not disappoint! From the moment we sat down, everything about the experience was enjoyable.
My husband ordered the Mango Margarita, and he absolutely loved it. It was refreshing, full of flavor, and the perfect complement to the meal. I went with a glass of white wine, and it was delicious as well.
We started with the Birria Bao Buns as an appetizer, and they were incredible. They were packed with flavor, perfectly balanced, and honestly one of the highlights of the meal. If you’re visiting for the first time, I would definitely recommend ordering them.
For our entrees, I had the Queso Birria Tacos served with rice and beans. The tacos were cheesy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The consommé was rich, savory, and full of deep, authentic flavor that made every bite even better. The rice and beans deserve a special mention too because they were some of the best I’ve had at a Mexican restaurant. They were fresh, well-seasoned, and anything but an afterthought.
My husband ordered the Enchiladas Divorciadas, which came with one tinga chicken enchilada and one birria enchilada. He said both were absolutely delicious and loved being able to enjoy two different flavors in one meal. Every bite was packed with flavor, and he finished his plate completely.
Overall, we had an amazing experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The drinks were excellent, the portions were generous, and every dish tasted like it was made with care. We left full, happy, and already talking about what we’d order the next time we come back.
If you’re looking for a place with amazing Mexican food, flavorful drinks, and dishes that truly stand out, The Mexicano is definitely worth the visit. We can’t wait to come back!
