Sanctuary Resort

We stayed at the Kimpton Miralina Resort and we are already planning to come back in the near future. When we first booked our flight and hotel package, we wanted the King Villa with Patio, but found out the Villas were being renovated. Amanda who was wonderful, spoke with me on the phone and throught text message was wonderful and explained we would be moving to a Casita instead. She also helped send over info since it was my partner's birthday and a lovely chips, salsa, guac, augua fresco and water were delivered in our Casita. The Casita was already renovated with a spacious living room, dining room, washroom and bedroom. The only thing I would comment on not being perfect was the air conditioner is on the louder side and the water pressure of the shower can be stronger. The Casitas have a private smaller pool you can use close by if you want something more private and less walking. The bigger pool with the Cima bar was more our vibes. It was spacious, lots of greenery, places to sit or walk around, has cabanas you can rent and you can order food or drinks while you sun bathe. Victoria was the main server during our 3 night stay and she was friendly and helpful. Get be nachos (huge and amazing portions) and the margaritas. Our stay was absolutely memorable with every staff member we encountered along with the beautiful scenery and facilities which made the minor things not a big deal.

Our family did a one night stay staycation here and we really enjoyed our time at this local resort in Paradise Valley/Scottsdale. We booked two of the newly renovated casitas with the spa experience packages and it was the perfect set up for our family. The staff were friendly, very accommodating, and attentive. We especially enjoyed the scenic views, ambiance, music playlist, and my husband and my spa treatments. 5 stars to Marie and Sid! The deep tissue massages were amazing. The pools had a lot of lounge space/chairs and were not too crowded. In fact, the pool by the casitas was not occupied so we got to enjoy the pool to ourselves. The property is undergoing some renovations and there was construction at some of the villas. But we still really enjoyed our stay especially for the price. The polite staff was able to accommodate us accordingly. Also, we got good sleep because the rooms and beds were very comfortable. We will back again.

We went Friday to Monday, it was beautiful and very nice pools, I mean it's not a five star place but it sure looks like there trying to get there, I can't wait to go back when the villas are done being remodeled. That's really the only complaint we had, was they definitely hired some people who don't speak any English, they didn't even try to protect the look because they had well over 100 boxes, packing foam, Styrofoam, cardboard, packing straps, we cleaned up garbage every damn morning, because they simply made a gigantic pile in between different buildings, so a freaking wind tunnel and in the freaking desert, we had some freaking wind and bad storms. Other than that, we will absolutely go back and would absolutely recommend, especially if you dig having a DJ poolside in a pool that's 4 ft deep at the center, party pool, people bringing you drinks, expensive but you get what you pay for, they have 3 different pool areas/hot tub. So if you brought your family, there's a place for everyone to enjoy for sure, I'm from Wisconsin and I really enjoyed the gigantic courtyard feel, that you really feel like you're protected, seating area's have water misting you can turn on and it probably drops the temperature 30 degrees, because it was 108 at midnight and it was like sitting on my deck at home, unbelievably comfy.

Premium stay for a great price. This place is insane. Coming from an actually-earned Diamond Elite, IHG owner, and Ambassador. I loved my stay here. Upon checking in, I was upgraded to a casita and am very comfortable in it. The property is well maintained, the parking is free, and there is something for everything. The fitness center is great, there are 6 pools for those who want a chill vibe or for those who want more lively pools. I saw some reviews that the pool service is slow, but that was not my experience. You’re definitely getting more than what you pay for here. I was truly impressed with all of the service across the board at this property. Whoever is managing it is doing a fantastic job - kudos to you! I highly recommend this spot for a relaxing getaway, an excellent location, and an overall optimal experience.

I loved staying here- its Beautiful-feels like Tulum vibes- Came for my bday and they gave me champagne a personal signed bday card from the staff and management- RJ the manager provided excellent service - its so clean and beautiful the rooms are great size and decor is lovely!!! highly recommend staying here- We will definitely come back here every time! Oh and the spa is amazing- kind staff - pools are nice with several pools we even went to the gym-they have great amenities here! What a beautiful resort- thank you to the staff- we loved it here! -Trinh Tran
