The Collins Small Batch Kitchen is a total gem, delivering on their promise of small-batch perfection. This place immediately became a favorite after trying just two items that absolutely blew me away.
First, the Charred Brussels Sprouts. If you think you don't like sprouts, try these. They were perfectly crispy, smoky from the charring, and seasoned beautifully. They manage to be both rich and light at the same time—a must-order appetizer.
But the real star of the show was the Short Rib Mac N Cheese. Wow. This dish is pure, indulgent comfort food taken to a gourmet level. The macaroni was coated in a creamy, velvety cheese sauce, and the short rib pieces were incredibly tender and rich. It was deeply satisfying and easily one of the best Mac N Cheeses I've ever had.
The service was excellent, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The Collins proves that focusing on quality ingredients and great execution pays off. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu! Five stars all the way!
Severely underrated restaurant in Scottsdale. Everything here was fantastic. The noble bread and butter was amazing, crispy on the outside hot in the inside with a yummy salty butter. The star was definitely the crabcake with side salad, it was filling and flavorful with lots of crab. The salmon was great too. We will definitely be back!
Wow, just wow. We had brunch here on Saturday and we were blown away by how good it was. Everything we had was great. The pancakes especially we excellent.
It was so good that we came back on Sunday for father's day lunch. I had a burger and it was excellent. The shoe string fries were also really good. I took home a coconut cream pie slice which was also fantastic.
Then we went back for their BOGO pizza on Monday and the pizza is great too. It was big enough that it was three meals for me. My son ate it in two meals.
Then the following Monday I returned with a friend for their last BOGO pizza night (only in June) and both had their margarita pizza, which was excellent. We finished the meal off with tres leches cake, which made me quite happy.
I will certainly be returning again and again and now I want to try the other restaurants by this same owner.
WOW!! This place is special and a true Arcadia Gem. It started with a perfect friday night on the patio. Jack was our server and he was 11 out of 10. It is restaurant week and we were treated to one of the best meals I have ever had. Started with 6 Raw oysters, these were some of the best oysters, perfect blend of cocktail sauce and horseradish. We also enjoyed deconstructed deviled eggs, such a cool twist to a traditional deviled egg. I enjoyed the red fish and my hubby had the ribs, we both could not stop talking about how perfect each item was. Blackened Red Fish was a first for me and I will be cming back for that meal regularly. The absolute HIGHLIGHT of the meal was the Coconut Cream Pie. Jack recommended this as well. He really knew this menu to perfection. My hubby doesnt like coconut, but this pie has made him a cocunut cream pie lover. Its been 2 days and we are still thinking about that pie each morning over coffee. It was that good. Sorry for the longest review but everyone involved in this amazing experience deserves a huge round of applause. We will be back. OFTEN!! Thank you :)
The guac portion on the app was very small.
The beef in the mac and the portion were very small.
The French dip was solid, but not $26 solid, bread was good.
The pizza, decent, but not a show stopper.
Dipping sauces were good, but overall for the price, 2 happy our apps and 2 of the cheaper entrees with waters to drink, we were at $95+- after tip. Not bad, just not a stand out in my opinion. Give me something memorable, and better protein portions.
