A truly excellent dining experience from start to finish.
The duck “two ways” was a highlight, with the breast cooked to a perfect pink and the confit leg thoughtfully integrated into the lentils, adding depth and richness rather than being served separately. It felt like a fine dining approach with careful attention to balance and presentation—though the guest below did manage to miss it entirely and was generously rewarded with a complimentary dessert for the discovery gap.
The salmon exceeded expectations—perfectly cooked with great texture and seasoning, clearly handled with skill and precision.
Overall, between the food, atmosphere, and attentive service, the restaurant offers excellent value and a dining experience that feels elevated without being pretentious.
Lamb shank Moroccan style was quite interesting and tasty with lots of veggies. The other dish was described as Duck both ways - confit and breast. Unfortunately only breast was present. When we asked the waitress where is the confit part, she was completely baffled and didn't know what to say. Fortunately the manager offered free dessert, so we were somewhat compensated, but it is sad, that the server doesn't care, what they serve and doesn't make an effort to learn basics about the food. The presentation was pleasant and temperature of the dishes within the normal range.
We were extremely disappointed with our experience. Before arriving, we checked the restaurant's online reservation system and saw multiple reservation times available. Based on that information, we made the trip to dine here.
When we arrived, however, the hostess immediately told us the restaurant was fully booked and could not accommodate us. This was confusing because reservations were still showing as available online at that very moment. When we mentioned this, we did not receive a satisfactory explanation.
What made the situation even more upsetting was that, as gay people of color, the interaction left us questioning whether we were being treated fairly. We cannot say for certain what the reason was, but the inconsistency between the available reservations online and what we were told in person created an uncomfortable and unwelcome experience.
We understand that reservation systems can occasionally have issues, but clear communication and respectful treatment of all guests are essential. Unfortunately, this experience left us with little confidence in the restaurant's customer service.
Went for happy hour between 2-5 on a Saturday of long weekend. Food was exceptional! Staff was really friendly and accommodating. Washrooms were really clean. Wasn't busy at all when we went. Great ambiance. Definitely a hidden gem, way better than we expected. Would highly recommend. Would come again.
I went there with some friends, and we ordered several dishes to share. I didn’t expect too much at first, but the food turned out to be better than I thought. The server was reasonably friendly as well. It wasn’t an unforgettable meal, but we had a nice dinner overall.
