It was such an amazing experience! I went with my friends for an early dinner around 6 PM, and we mainly tried the Chicago-style Wicked Chicken Pizza — honestly, it was the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life! We also tried two or three other varieties, and each one was delicious, but the Wicked Chicken Pizza was definitely the star of the show. The flavors were incredible, and one pizza was easily enough for two people.
Highly recommend trying the Chicago-style Wicked Chicken Pizza — it’s a must-have! 🍕🔥
Today it was death by pizza. Let’s start with important information: the online menu is outdated! They offer also Detroit style pizza now!
After contemplating a long time I ordered a Chicago style deep dish Picante and also added extra feta to it. For my daughter I ordered a London style margarita and for my wife a London style classic without ham.
When the pizzas first arrived visually the London style pizzas looked more impressive and funny enough more deep dish than my own.
In the end I ate my own Chicago style and 1 piece of the other variations.
First both styles were excellent. However I have to give the clear favorite 100% to the Chicago style. In the end the London style felt dry while the Chicago version was much juicer due to the extra amount of tomato sauce. What was also wonderful was how the crust felt like it was filled with cheese but likely it was just so that it had a thick layer around the corner which made the entire crust amazing. I absolutely adored my pizza and the extra feta should be part of the official version. It was to die for and I will so freaking be back as soon as I can to also try their version of Detroit style.
By the way: I have eaten real Chicago style pizza in Chicago and while it is not 100 % the same, I loved Jape’s version equally the same!

One of the BEST pizza experiences! This was my first time trying a proper Chicago-style pizza, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We ordered two Chicago-style pizzas, Pepperoni and Hot Honey, and both were incredibly delicious. The portions were the perfect size!
What made the experience even better was the super friendly, happy, and smiley staff who greeted us so warmly. Because of this, the vibe and atmosphere in the restaurant were incredibly pleasant, and on top of that, we received top-class quality food. All of this really made our day! I will 100% be recommending this place and visiting again and again! I’m sure the other styles of pizza are great too. Thank you again!

Indulgent deep dish pizzas that are worth a try if you want something different. Quick service.
The hot honey Chicago style pizza £19 was tasty. Crust is crispy on the side. The chicken london style pizza £19 ( toppings go all the way to the edge) was decent but lacked much flavour from the blue cheese and the bread was not very crispy.
Portions look small but very filling. Struggled to finish one by myself and I can eat a lot !
Toilets were quite dirty.

Japes offers a wide variety of pizza types and toppings, and I enjoyed trying 3 types of Detroit style pizza by the slice. They were cooked perfectly with crispy edges, and my favourite was the Sicilian stinger topping. Would definitely come back.
