In my opinion, this is one of the best hummus spots in Tel Aviv—and I've tried quite a few.
This is a true Tel Aviv institution, with a long history and a third generation of hummus makers carrying on the tradition. You can tell there's a lot of experience behind what they do.
A heads-up: Fridays are extremely busy. The place gets packed, and waiting times can be quite long. If you're planning to visit on a Friday, I'd recommend ordering takeaway through one of the delivery apps and simply picking it up.
The hummus is consistently delicious, and it's easy to see why this place has built such a strong reputation over the years.
Highly recommended. If you're a hummus lover, this is a place you shouldn't miss.
Very good hummus here! Got the Tunisian special which has a great serving of protein. Very friendly service. Best to stop by on a weekday when it is less crowded. I just wish they served the pita warm instead of cold. Warming the pitas would elevate the entire experience. I keep returning to try the different flavour combination. The ice tea goes really well with the hummus!!
They also bring you a bowl of water for your doggo.

Solid 4.5
All delicious. My favorite is the one with hidden falafel paste because of the texture. The meat-like one with mushroom and nut is good but a bit greasy if I have too much. The hummus itself is not too oily.
The tabbouleh is very refreshing with much lemon.
Personally I prefer hummus with more chickpea earthiness but I like the ideas here

The BEST hummus in Tel Aviv (and yes, I’ve been to Abu Hassan). Particularly recommend the meshulash. The malabi here is also the some of best I've ever had. I will be coming here as long as I'm in Israel. The service is excellent and the people are extremely friendly, and I had some great conversations with them. Lots of quiet, pleasant outdoor seating. Can't recommend enough!!!!

Discovered this with the intent to try the best possible hummus while in Israel. We were not disappointed. Best hummus ever!!!!! The options are extensive for vegetarians, and unique in many ways. Don't let the fact that the restaurant is tucked away fool you into thinking it is not worth it. Must be tried to believe how good it is and also portion sizes are big. Medium is a good enough size for a meal.
