Really nice ice cream spot. They have an assortment of variety of ways to eat the ice cream via a cup waffle cone or milkshake. They also have a good selection of vegan ice cream choices and a merchandise area with cool merch a lot of parking in the area nice staff

Salt & Straw in Gilbert, Arizona is hands down one of the most creative and consistently amazing ice cream spots around. This place never misses. The flavors are wild in the best way possible bold, unexpected, and somehow always perfectly balanced. From my all-time favorite Freckled Mint to the unforgettable Strawberry Balsamic with Black Pepper, every scoop feels intentional and next-level. It’s not just ice cream, it’s an experience. They’re open late, year-round, which automatically makes this a win. Perfect for: • family nights with small kids • casual date nights • post-dinner cravings • or “just because” runs (which turn into a habit real quick) The quality, creativity, and consistency keep us coming back over and over and over again. If you’re even remotely into unique flavors done right, this spot is a must. Highly recommend. Top tier. No notes. 🍦🔥

An interesting flavor twist to ice cream. I opted for the Pear/Blue Cheese. Yes you saw that right Pear with Blue Cheese. It was very good. I also opted for the split scoop, meaning a half scoop of two flavors. My second flavor was Sea Salt with Caramel Ribbons. I personally would not choose that again because it was much saltier than I would want. If you love salt, this is your ice cream of choice! They had a line 10 ft outside the door and all across the serving counter before you get to the same length line that is getting served. By the time we got our ice cream, it was double the length outside. Don't let that deter you though because they move along pretty quickly. Friendly and helpful staff and they encourage you to try a sample of as many as you like. I did with the Pear/Blue Cheese, I should have but didn't, with the Sea Salt/Caramel Ribbons. We were a party of 6, and everyone was impressed. Give them a try, they will probably be your new favorite Ice Cream Shop!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My daughter raved about Salt & Straw, so of course I had to “just try one bite.” Big mistake — I was hooked instantly. I went back two days in a row! The brownie and caramel in a waffle cone were unreal — pure happiness in every scoop. My husband (who’s a bodybuilder and never eats this kind of thing) had the coffee flavor, and even he couldn’t resist going back for seconds. It’s dangerously good. I’m half-hoping they open one on my side of Florida… and half-hoping they don’t, because I’d weigh 300 pounds. Worth every bite of heaven. 🍦
