It is hard to put into words how much we enjoyed our experience. I often make homemade pasta myself, and there is something truly special about it—nothing compares to the taste of freshly handmade pasta. We had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was excellent. Greetings from Croatia! 🇭🇷

The pasta is a little bit hard or soft, not al dente. The sauce are excellent, carbonara full of egg yolk taste. Guanciale is very outstanding, every bite you can feel the oil and very much flavor. But you won't feel too heavy, it is very well balanced. And the ox tail sauce is also excellent and very rich. Sadly the seating area is very crowded and cramped. Also you will need to wait for more than 30 minutes.

An unforgettable experience! 🇮🇹❤️ This traditional Italian restaurant absolutely enchanted us! We had to wait quite a while, but honestly, it was worth every minute. Unfortunately, reservations weren’t possible, so the restaurant was extremely busy and crowded. Understandably, a few guests became a little frustrated because of the wait. Despite all of this, our waiter remained incredibly kind, attentive, and cheerful, always finding the time to smile and make us feel welcome. And the food… OMG! 🤌🇮🇹 Everything is freshly prepared, and every single dish was absolutely delicious. You can truly taste the passion, quality, and authenticity in every bite. A special thank you to Simone, who made our day even more beautiful with his kindness and wonderful attitude! ❤️ Despite the wait, we would absolutely come back. A truly authentic Italian experience that we wholeheartedly recommend! 🇮🇹✨

On 5/20/26 I had an incredible dining experience at Osteria da Fortunata in Rome. I ordered the Tagliolini Gricia, and it was absolutely perfect simple, rich, and full of authentic Roman flavor. You can really taste the quality and tradition in every bite. The service made the meal even better. A special thank you to Oracio and Marco, who were both attentive, welcoming, and made us feel taken care of from start to finish. If you’re in Rome and looking for a truly authentic and memorable meal, this place is a must. I’ll definitely be back!

Osteria da Fortuna – Absolutely Outstanding! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐** We stopped at Osteria da Fortuna during our recent Mediterranean cruise and it was easily one of the highlights of our time in Rome. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with incredible aromas of fresh garlic, basil, and simmering tomatoes that instantly transported us. We started with the burrata and bruschetta — both were absolutely delicious, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The real treat was watching the woman making fresh pasta right in front of us through the window, such a wonderful touch that made the experience even more special. For my main course, I had the Ravioli all’uovo con Pomodoro Fresco e Basilico. The flavors were incredibly rich yet bright and fresh, perfectly cooked pasta with that luxurious egg yolk center, all brought together by the vibrant tomato sauce. Every bite was memorable. The service was genuinely warm and attentive throughout, making us feel like welcomed guests rather than just customers. If you’re in Rome and love authentic, high-quality Italian food made with passion, do yourself a favor and book a table here.
