Orestone Manor

An elegant and tastefully furnished and decorated hotel in a peaceful setting with beautiful views. We loved our room (6) and the twin basins, freestanding bath and bidet in the beautifully decorated bathroom were particularly impressive. Food was sublime. Menu had excellent choice of meal options at superb value for the quality. We loved dining here. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. A lovely 3 night stay. Thank you!

A small privately owned hotel, with very high quality food. Rooms are slightly old fashioned but housekeeping is immaculate. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Access is via a standard narrow Devon road which causes problems if another car wished to pass you. We will be back again and recommending this hotel to friends .

We had a recent two night stay at this fabulous hotel along with our cockerpoo, Benji. We were greeted by the extremely amiable Kirsty with a very warm welcome and she looked after us so well through the check in process and then showing us to our accommodation and explaining everything to us. We had booked room 14 which was a luxury duplex suite with our own secluded private hot tub which was absolutely amazing. So much space and with it being an "upside down" house had amazing sea views over the bay. Kirsty shared her knowledge of the area with recommendations for lovely walks with our dog. Such invaluable information. We had the pleasure of having dinner at the hotel on the first evening and it was incredible food with matching service. We were greeted in the lounge by a lovely member of staff whose name I did not quite catch. She was so hospitable and welcoming. We were greeted at our table by Craig, a member of the hotel owning family. His knowledge regarding the menu was exemplary and, having followed his recommendations we both had a truly delightful meal. Full compliments to the wonderful chef patron, Neil. Chapeau! Craig's knowledge of the history of the Orestone Manor was fascinating and highly detailed. Craig was an absolute credit to this hotel. All the staff are incredible and so warm and welcoming and nothing is ever too much for them and they are so eager to please. We highly recommend this hotel. You will have an experience you will remember forever. Enjoy

Lovely experience at Orestone Manor. The staff were very friendly, the food was excellent, and there was plenty of parking. We first visited for afternoon tea and were so impressed that we came back for Sunday roast – and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Great quality food and a really enjoyable visit.
