What a GEM! We are SO excited to have La Merna in this area of DuPont. A great neighborhood spot! Cocktails were priced so well and tasted amazing. We tried the focaccia, 2 different pizzas, and the Caesar salad. Everything was amazing! The pizza reminded us of St. Louis style. Staff was great, so welcoming, we can’t wait to come back!
Can’t say enough good things about La Merna. This is about to be THE spot in DC. The vibes are cozy and fun. The food, drinks, and staff are all top tier. You need to experience for yourself. Pro tip: get the fennel salad with chicken milanese.

We were there for the soft opening, there was a lot of thought put into the decor which is absolutely beautiful. The 1920’s style bar adds to the great vibe you feel as soon as you walk in the door. It is a great place to spend time either eating dinner or having one of the unique cocktails at the bar. Everything we had was very well prepared and the housemaid bread, pasta, and cheese made it that much better. This will be one of our regular spots, great atmosphere and a great place to grab dinner and a late night cocktail.

Had the perfect ladies night at La Merna. Started with the Ferryman martini at the bar - the side of dill pickle chips was the perfect complement to my drink. The fennel salad was perfection. The vibe is on point, we sat at the 8 person booth which was cozy, private and still felt totally in the mix. Good for date night or with friends!

We visited this new restaurant that just opened a few days ago near Dupont Circle! We had a different mix of good cocktails, a fennel salad, a fig pizza and others got the meatballs and a pasta dish with short rib ragu and all of us were happy. Apparently they make their own cheese, pasta and bread in-house. They have a great bar too, the decor is moody with dark wood, red booths and the lighting is a highlight. We’re going back!
