I did the Lord of the rings inspired experience, the service was fantastic. The restaurant transported you to Middle Earth. The food was well balanced between sweet, salty, umani, and aromatic through out each dish. It was also on theme for your adventure through Middle Earth. It was a great experience and as a huge Lord of the Rings fan, I could not have had a better time. Reserve a spot for their theme dinners as soon as you can, highly recommend.
My girlfriend and I went here for our 2 year anniversary. During this time, the restaurant was hosting a Lord of the Rings, Tolkien-themed decor and menu. Needless to say, we were FLOORED with how wonderful the dishes were and how professional, kind, and knowledgable the servers and staff were. Our particular favorites were the Mount Doom lava cake, Sam's po-tay-toes, and trout and mutton entrees. We loved how dedicated the staff were to providing such an authentic and cute experience. Thank you for making our anniversary a memorable one!!
La Bohème offers something so unique with it's themed dinners. They really go all out decorating the whole dining room, theming the menu and dish names, and also telling a little story with each dish as it is presented. The food is of excellent quality with a high-class presentation. If you couldn't tell by the name, the cuisine is primarily French cooking. They have an overwhelmingly vast champagne selection with some truly excellent bottles for the discerning connoisseur. Also, their cocktails are very inspired and unique. I recommend exploring their various menu options if dining with a partner, you can sample a variety of dishes by each selecting something different from the 4 courses. We've visited three times now and always had an excellent experience.
We went for the George Lucas tasting menu. The Good: the food was very flavorful and fresh. Everything we ate we enjoyed. Also the service was really great, everyone was nice and things were organized and quick service. The vibe was also pretty cozy and good Star Wars music playing . The Bad: I think some of the decorations looked a bit cheap and tacky. The Ugly: we spent over $300 and I had to go get a slice of pizza afterwards. Each plate simply did not have nearly have enough food on it to leave me satisfied. We did the 4 course menu instead of the six course (maybe our mistake) but still the 4 course menu is $99 per person. I should get enough food at this price point in my opinion. Also the cocktail I got was delicious, but again it was tiny! I like the concept and all But there is no way I can give 5 stars when we spend $$$ and leave hungry. Had I been full would probably have given this place 5 stars.
Try the Lord of the Rings dinner! It was so much fun, and the staff had little comments prepared for each item. The food was also absolutely delicious!
