This was our second time here and it was even better than the first. Both times we’ve dined at the bar, but tonight we had the pleasure of being served by the bartender Karen and she made the experience that much more wonderful. Her knowledge of the menu and food was impressive and she steered us in a great direction where we tried dishes we likely wouldn’t have and loved them all! Her passion for Kyu and what she does is infectious, so I highly recommend dining at the bar when she’s on.
The room is also very chic, with a great layout and beautiful strip views, especially as the lights come on outside.
Definitely try their craft cocktails, the Japanese sweet potato and the fried chicken is a showstopper! We will be back for sure.
Came into town for a weekend with my family and had the best experience! My husband and I travel a lot for work, and we actually just visited Japan a couple of months ago, so we loved the atmosphere of this restaurant as well as the decor- it felt very authentic and the restaurant is beautiful. Our server James was extremely knowledgeable and out of the thousands of restaurants we have visited, this was one of our top experiences thanks to James. He took his time to explain his recommendations, and timed our dishes and dessert to come out perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised and grateful to be able to have such a wonderful time with my family. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area, and when you make your reservation, do yourself a favor and request James. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in town!

James took care of us at dinner on a Friday night. He was awesome and explained the menu very well. He made some really good recommendations and I’m glad we listened.
We were here specifically for Restaurant Week and I have to say, good a really good deal considering the prices of some of the items we got. The Wagyu tartare alone was $52 already, and we spent $90 on a 3-course meal for RW.
We had crispy rice tuna, Wagyu tartare, Chilean sea bass, filet mignon, cinnamon roll, and the smores cake. To drink, I had an old fashioned with a Japanese whisky. It was nice and oaky. The wife had the she so spicy which was excellent (I had a sip). Everything we ate was divine; the only thing we were a little disappointed in was the consistency of the crispy rice. We wished it would have been a bit more sushi rice consistency on the inside, but it was a bit too soggy. Everything else was amazing though, especially the sea bass.
The restaurant itself is so pretty, and we happened to get seated in the instagrammable area with the greenery. We are locals, so don’t really care much for a strip view, but the restaurant does have a nice one. Would we come back here and pay à la carte next time? Probably not, but only because we try to avoid the strip like the plague.

During a conference stop in May 2026 stopped in here for dinner one evening. This was a good surprise. The food was perfect and was the service. The menu has several interesting options and many unique offerings. The decor and ambiance was just right and the seating was spacious. The night I visited it wasn't crowded, however, reservations highly recommended. The theme of the food is Asian but prepared with woodfired cooking. The grilled octopus was perfect ad were the baby back ribs! The drink menu is equally eclectic.

Brian was a very courteous and knowledgeable server. When we had questions, he answered clearly and helped us choose what we wanted. Some prices are high yes, but the quality, vibe and service are all top notch.
We tried the Korean fried chicken, beef ribs, tuna crispy rice, hamachi crispy rice, and shishito peppers. Crispy rice and shishitos were my favorite! So flavorful and fresh! The ribs were so insanely tender and delicious. The friend chicken was fine, I’m not a big fan of it though anyway. Husband loved it!!
The best part was probably the hot towel service after the meal. We needed it!
