One of the best Nepali restaurants in the DMV!❤️ The food is absolutely top-notch, and the momo are hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. The warm hospitality and welcoming atmosphere make every visit even more special. If you’re looking for authentic Nepali flavors, Kathmandu DC is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!!!
Kathmandu is one of Dc’s newest restaurants . Their space is small n cute . Food flavours r really good , their momos r delicious, potato bravos must try appetiser , chicken starter was on point . Soya skewers vegan style were so soft and delicious. Keema noodles were good touch to the menu , drinks r good unique n tasty . They have small plates so we almost ordered all the best ones and thankfully nothing disappointed us . Overall , good experience , accommodating and friendly staff still getting used to things here n there . They have very small menu , had jalebi after a long time was good.

Absolutely PHENOMENAL. Friends and I tried plenty of drinks and momos, everything was exceptional. Favorites were the buffalo momos and the Himalayan old fashioned. Seriously, 50 countries under my belt and plenty of variations on the old fashioned, and this is *hands down* the best. Lots of care and chemistry go into each crafted drink. Wonderful service (thank you Jack!), and so vibey. Will definitely be back!

From the moment we walked in, the vibe was vibrant yet cozy—perfect for a relaxed evening or a fun night out. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. We tried the momo (juicy, flavorful, and perfectly steamed), the Mustange aloo (packed with bold Himalayan spices and just the right kick), and the choila sadheko (smoky, savory, and incredibly authentic). Every bite felt like a trip straight to Nepal.
And let’s talk about the cocktails—mind-blowing is an understatement. Each drink was expertly crafted, pairing beautifully with the rich, spicy flavors of the dishes.

Kathmandu Tapas and Cocktail was an amazing experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely delicious—authentic Nepali flavors presented with a creative, modern twist. Every dish we tried was packed with flavor, and the cocktails were unique, beautifully presented, and perfectly complemented the food.
A special shoutout to our server, Jog, who made the experience even better. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout the evening. Great service can really elevate a dining experience, and Jog absolutely did that for us.
The atmosphere, food, drinks, and hospitality all came together perfectly. It’s wonderful to see Nepali cuisine showcased in such a fresh and elevated way. Kathmandu Tapas and Cocktail is definitely a place we’ll be coming back to! Highly recommend!
