Have been counting down this day I could happily say I have tried Jeff’s table and proven the crowd being accurate saying their sandwiches were top notch. Located behind a petite grocery store at the busy corner of Highland Park, it’s literally small but mighty palate pleaser.
Limited sit down space by the curbside next to the store, but not stopping people from giving it a try. Online pre-order was certainly great alternative to skip the line.
Being first timer, we got their iconic Dirty Baby, serving spicy turkey salad melt with crispy shallot and chili crisp. That hot cheesy flavors were such dynamic duo; worth the mess I created on each bite.
Different level of spicy, which only those with high tolerance could handle, would be their Hot Hot. Still caught me in disbelief how tender the pastrami slices were, blended in very well with the melted comte cheese.
If your tummy had more space, went for extra potato salad on the side!
Ordered online and appreciated that the pick up was quick and easy. A bag with my order was on a table just inside the liquor store. I got the Jeff's Special, which was a fantastic sandwich! My only gripe is that the sandwich was cut with both layers of paper, so the oil from the sandwich leaked through the bag and created a bit of a mess.

Not much more to ask for from a hot pastrami sandwich. Tender, flavorful, juicy/proper fat ratio. Got the “Hot Hot” so it had a nice kick as well.
IDK, call me cheap or whatever, but there is something about paying $17 for a very very very small sandwich. Depicted is my very small man hands next to a very tiny sandwich.
If I am paying $17 at least give me more content. That is all.
